Potzato: Maybe it's grossing more dough ? It would be a good reason to put it in the front seat, but in that case it should be the bestgrossing list :-)
Maybe you're right.
Anyway, either the bestselling ranking or the popular tab is wrong.

You must have misunderstood what our conversation was about. :)

Morrowind has, as far as I could tell, constantly been displayed above the other Bethesda titles in the popular tab. However, if you look at the bestselling list of all games, Morrowind is displayed as almost the least selling Bethesda game.

I believe the "Best-selling" tab on the front page uses very recent data, as it updates several times a day. If tons of people bought Redguard and Battlespire in the first two days of the promo, for example, but Morrowind has been selling at a slower (but steadier) rate, then it would make sense for Morrowind to appear above the others more often on the front page, but still be behind in overall sales. Considering the fact that the two spin-offs were unavailable for years (unlike Morrowind), and that both of them together are less than the cost of Morrowind by itself, I would imagine there were a lot more instabuys for the spinoffs than for Morrowind.

What I find weird is that currently, ALL the Bethesda releases (and everything else) are getting beat out by Satellite Reign. With Big Pharma coming up behind!

Very strange, indeed. The popular tab is probably just a marketing tool.
If it was strictly a bestselling tab then that's what it would be called. I'm guessing the popular tab takes other factors into consideration such as gamecard traffic and reviews in addition to sales numbers.

Yeah that's a valid theory.

But Morrowind hasn't got that much better reviews than the fallout games, has been sold quite a bit less according to the bestselling ranking and I doubt that its gamecard gets that much more traffic than the Fallout game cards if it apparently doesn't sell as well.

Empirical data suggests that the popular tab in the front page takes into account the money each game made in the last few days. Considering Morrowind has a higher price than the other Bethesda games, it does make sense that it is seen as "more popular", even if it hasn't sold as many units. Do compare it with Satellite Reign, which also has a relatively high price point.

Probably also explains why Witcher 3 has always been very high up on the list.
For those wondering where the Bethesda Softworks releases rank on GOG's catalog:

#610 (Page 13) - An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire
#620 (Page 13) - Fallout
#622 (Page 13) - Fallout 2
#625 (Page 13) - The Elder Scrolls Adventure: Redguard
#627 (Page 13) - Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood Of Steel
#701 (Page 15) - The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Game Of The Year Edition)
#734 (Page 15) - The Ultimate DOOM
#737 (Page 15) - Quake: The Offering
#756 (Page 16) - DOOM II: Hell On Earth + Master Levels For DOOM II + Final DOOM

Does this mean that we may see their Terminator series make a digital debut? I'm particularly hopeful for The Terminator: 2029.
This may have been answered somewhere in this forum, but will Arena and Daggerfall be available for purchase after the promo? I don't see them in the catalog as of now.

Yes, they will still be available; but you don't see them because they're not truly free -- they're both bundled with each of the other Bethseda-published titles here (presumably including any future ones they release here).

What data?
I really really hope they get Fallout 3 GOTY on here. Probably not - but one can hope.

I'd love a GOG version I can just run to install, and not figure out the hoops as I would with either of my physical copies.
Anyone else see the fallout games in your library but on the store page it says you dont own them?
Congrats GOG for signing Bethesda, great work!
