The Elder Scrolls. Quake & Doom. Fallout. Alright.

Welcome, Bethesda, to our pantheon of all-time classics!
Today, we're happy to start a blooming new partnership with Bethesda Softworks, one that brings an impressive lineup of their unforgettable games to our DRM-free platform, and plenty of guts and nuclear smiles to our faces.

We're teaming up to release some of the greatest hits from the Bethesda vault, some DRM-free for the first time ever. Wow, what great news! It must have been said before in these 27 pages of comments already, but everyone someone mentioned a Bethesda game as being a wish the reply always was "It will never happen, Bethesda's addicted to DRM and they even pulled the old Fallout games from the store" and look now, Fallout is backed, accompanied by Morrowind and other Bethesda classics.

Just wait some time and Doom 3 and Fallout 3 will be classics too, Bethesda will strip them of their DRM and they will make it to GOG as well, I predict!
I have a feeling we won't have to wait too long for either of those. ;)

O___O
I could have never expected this from Bethesda.
Slow clap for GOG and Bethesda.
It's amazing to have Bethesda on board. Well done!

I wasn't aware that they held the rights to old Doom games and Quake, too. Very nice to have them here.

We were certainly getting a lot of good old games lately and I'm loving it.
well looks like all the games are selling really well which is a good sign that hopefully Bethesda will want to release even more games.
Wow, this is really great! I think I'm even getting an itch to play Doom and Quake all over again...
Finally! Good to see all the earlier Elder Scrolls, Doom and Fallout series being released on GOG. Hope the later titles in the series will come to GOG in future. Thank you GOG!
Good news ! Nothing for me (for now ?), but hopefully other games will pop up here :)
Now I have to wonder, will they give us the original good version of Doom 3, or the ruined BFG edition.

I didn't even know, that there was some BFG edition but from what I've seen, Doom 3 with widescreen mod and some others (like the improved menu) is superior to this "remastered version" indeed.
Will the free Arena and Daggerfall bonus remain after the promo ends?

Yes.
I hope now that Bethesda is a publisher here , GOG can look into getting two long lost games , Zero Critical and Symbiocom , Bethesda owns the IP's :)

Oh absolutely, I am a staunch supporter of Doom 3's original vision, which includes the toggled flashlight. For anyone who simply can't wrestle with this, the duct tape mod works far better than the tension-destroying suit flashlight from the BFG edition.

Also there are many wonderful fan levels that only work with non-BFG edition.

I like Doom 3's original "shadow management" with the flashlight, it's what made this game special for me and the level design is made for this. No interest in the duct tape mod here.
