The Elder Scrolls. Quake & Doom. Fallout. Alright.

Welcome, Bethesda, to our pantheon of all-time classics!
Today, we're happy to start a blooming new partnership with Bethesda Softworks, one that brings an impressive lineup of their unforgettable games to our DRM-free platform, and plenty of guts and nuclear smiles to our faces.

We're teaming up to release some of the greatest hits from the Bethesda vault, some DRM-free for the first time ever. Eleven new arrivals include The Elder Scrolls and two digital-distribution premieres, totally retro id Software shooters, plus the long-awaited return of the Fallout franchise! To make the day even sweeter, The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall will be added to your game shelf entirely for free when you buy any Bethesda game.

The Elder Scrolls, perched high up among the most famous video-game worlds ever created, are now DRM-free and updated for your modern computer - you can purchase all three to receive a 33% discount.:

ithilien827: I have all the Fallout games in my account, but when I look at the promo they come up as "games you don't own yet". Are these different versions?
Doubt it.
Yesterday (i think) Fallout series games acquired a "Classic" postfix to theirs names (Fallout 1 Classic, etc).
This way it makes easier for GOG and Bethesda to distinguish old and new purchases.
That's my guess.
thank you based gog
Well, holy crap. I've said previously that I wouldn't be buying anything else from Bethesda until the day that Fallout returned. Then I open up GOG to find that not only is the series back, but a number of other items I've wanted to own for a long, long time.
It's good to see these games back, to be able to actually purchase them. Thanks to both GOG and Bethesda for making that possible.

Also, think I'm just going to count any free time I have for the next 8 to 12 months as already gone.

Also also, pretty sure that if Doom 3 got released here, it'd do quite well. Just saying. ;)

Hmm I think my previous post was eaten - if not I suspect it'll show up shortly before (after?) this one so please pardon me in advance ;)

I just had to click on a box when I logged in, and then select pictures of a pickup truck to prove I wasn't a robot LOL. I've never had to do this before - did something unpleasant just sneak in my browser and grab my log in info? Or is that a GoG "failsafe" - I've never seen it before, is why I ask - but I HAD just logged in three or so times, in quick succession, due to a few Firefox crashes while at the chat screen.

Thanks for your reply.

And thanks for Daggerfall, Arena, Redguard & Battlespire :)
Once again, GoG shows itself to be the greatest gift the gaming world has ever seen. I wasn't busy for the next 6 months anyway. Time to get out the credit card! :)
Nice! Heretic/Hexen to come some time, perhaps?
Are you shitting me? Wow great job.

You think that's crazy, I'm pretty sure you can also get your name game for free! ;)
Hopefully Dishonored and New Vegas will follow, and I will have absolutely no reason to ever launch Steam, ever again. Still... DRM-free Morrowind! Wooo!

Thanks i had read a few pages, but not enough.

Now hoping to see more Bethesda games coming, great move Bethesda! And thanks GoG :)
Radical!

Listen GOG; I just bought some stuff this week, including Grandia II and Looking Glass' Terra Nova. Games I've wanted for awhile and am going to enjoy playing. So I'm wiped at the moment and I won't be picking up any of these this week. But man oh man do I want to say, "Thanks" for FINALLY getting some Doom and Quake on the site, where it belongs!

This Bethesda announcement made my day you guys. Can't wait to pick these up sometimes in the future, after I get through a few more of the games I already own here :P

Rock on, GOG!

That would be awesome indeed. If GOG made one miracle happen, why not another?

Tarhiel: I am really glad Bethesda found its way to GOG - welcome!

Every single game goes onto the wishlist, although Morrowind is a wee bit overpriced - 20 bucks for 13 years old game? Come on, guys.

Doomjedi: I paid more then twice that when the game first came out. This when the game had no expansions, not even the construction set released yet, none of the expansions or DLC's, and was still a quite buggy mess.

Morrowind''s base game alone is still well worth 20 bucks.
this is kind of a value proposition, i guess.

but for me that price is a bit steep as well. especially since things like baldur's gate/baldur's gate ii are half the price and only a handful of years older.

i think bethesda probably priced themselves out of the market here, for a lot of people.

but again: that's just personal opinion.
