drmike: Cuz folks like using open proxies and VPNs (edit: And TOR) to cause problems for us webhosting folks. Spam, ddos, port scans, etc.
Sarang: See my previous comment. I want to buy many of those aforementioned games and they're either NOT available here or priced at an obscene amount. Phelio's doesn't have an arcade perfect port and Starblade's cost for 3DO is obscene(it is also NOT arcade perfect as I believe the arcade game is on a Laserdisc). Oh and 'Crossed Swords' has not gotten a release outside of the Japanese Wii shop. Some of us just want to buy overseas product and have companies shut up about region rights.
And that's fine. Unfortunately there are those idiots out there who ruin it for the rest of us.
I;m currently sitting at my local county library which maintains a single IP address for 20-22 locations. If you google'ed the number, you would see abuse complaint after complaint. I can;t even edit Wikipedia even if signed in due to all of the abuse that comes out of here.
At least GoG doesn;t mind VPNs. Or at least they don;t seem to mind.
My original suggestion stands by the way. Pick up a cheap VPS with it's own IP address and use that as a proxy/ VPN. It's not connected with any service and it shouldn;t be on any black list.
My ex went off with the bread machines. I remember watching the cats enjoy playing with it. We would fire it up and place it on the floor. When it was mixing, it would hobble across the floor and the cats would sit there watching it and on occasion reaching out to touch it. When it got hot, they would pile on top of it and take naps.
