In the mood for short and easy(ish) lately.
Good news everyone, there's a sale on visual novels. As short and easy as it gets.

Ultimate Fishing Simulator - relaxing as hell! goes so well with 80s and 90s radio stations. :D

Megaquarium - suppa-relaxing.

Egypt: Old Kingdom - short and relaxy.

Cultist Simulator - can be very short game sometimes.

Until War and Peace gets released as a visual novel...

As far as adventure games go, Last Door (Season 1/2) is short and easy.

Episodic, and probably only one puzzle that will send you searching for a guide.

Pathfinder Kingmaker.

jk i think it's long and hard
Waking Mars
Pixeljunk Shooter
Shadowrun Returns
Little Inferno, if that counts as a game.

I can't think of any others that weren't mentioned at the moment.
If you're looking for a story, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is relatively short (1-3 hours depending on how you play it) and easy enough in terms of gameplay challenge.
For anyone who wonder how long does it take to complete certain game(s), there's a site howlongtobeat.com. It says you need 3/5 hours to beat Portal. Pretty easy, as for me.
A Bird Story
Botanicula is pretty short and easy but also quite charming.
Gorogoa. 2-4 hours (?) depending on your puzzle/observational skills. Just beautiful and imaginative (imo).

Mini Metro. You will eventually "loose" though.

Speaking of short, Mhakna Gramura took me about 90 minutes. https://www.gog.com/game/mhakna_gramura_and_fairy_bell

Some of the VNs are quite long though!

As for something with more gameplay, Never Alone is pretty short and easy. I think I co-oped through it in a few hours with my little sister. https://www.gog.com/game/never_alone_arctic_collection

Also the original three episodes of Doom are quite short and easy. https://www.gog.com/game/the_ultimate_doom

How short? This thread might be of interest to you.

A few short and easy games I've played:

The World Next Door
Yono and the Celestial Elephants
Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island
Chuchel
Gravity Ghost (not on GOG)
Journey (not on GOG), or ABZÛ
Fire Watch, or What Remains of Edith Finch
