"War... War never changes..." 'nuff said :)

Of course, the best videogames ever have the best intros:

iippo: Best intro is still I-War 1 intro as it has been for long, long time.

It was also always my favourite intro :)

montcer9012: After playing games here and there, no game have impress me so bad as Killzone 2 did. Neither KZ 1 nor KZ 3, but KZ2!

Why? Because the game mix lot's of politics, economics and even theoretical concepts that you can't and won't see on many other games.
I don't know the game. The intro looks very good, but does Killzone 2 and Singularity really deal with those subjects? They seem like "normal" shooters to me.

I avoid shooters because they seem very shallow games to me. Maybe I'm missing something. :-/

My vote for the best intro goes to Homeworld. I was also blown away by the intro of Dune 2 when I saw it.
War... war never changes...
Devil's Attorney - The catchiest Intro ever. :)
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - The whole battle sequence is just awesome, and when the dropships rain down at the end you just want to get out your chair and be like "FUCK YEAH!"

Return to Castle Wolfenstein - "Fool, you know as well as I that I cannot be destroyed!"

Command and Conquer: Red Alert - Frank Klepacki's Hell March. Need I say more?

Haven't played it in a while and don't own it anymore. I heard that there are problems launching the game on Windows 8.1.(which is my system).

Here you find a solution - at least with the Origin version:

You have to set it in the options file. Check pcgamingwiki for details. I've played it in windowed mode.
