I've logged about 200 hours playing it, its a really fun game and cheap as chips now. Nice range of characters with different skill sets, slice n dice, gun-fu, throwing stuff or toe to toe melee combat. The sequel in Riptide has a pretty cool "claws" character that's fun to play too.

There were some cool mods for it as well, one was a weather mod and one really fecking scary night time mod, where you only had a torch for light, you would hear a zombie running for you and trying to pinpoint them with the flashlight to aim a weapon at them as they screamed towards you could be a really hairy experience.

Descent Freespace intro is still so good that I'd show it even to my mother. And she doesn't even like intros!

Crysis 2 intro is otherwise quite pleasant, but towards the end of it it is too much of "yeah look how badass I am, I single-handedly destroy helicopters and tanks by merely farting at their general direction". And that last zoom to his skiing goggles, come on, cliche much? Oooh, me so scared!

I would have liked the Crysis 2 intro better if the protagonist had died a painful death at the end. After all, wasn't that exactly the start of the game, your predecessor died? Why didn't they show that in the intro?

Cool as it is, the Crysis 2 intro is a bit too much of the 80s Schwarzenegger/Stallone type intro.

Ah, the intro from Devil May Cry 3 is one of the most over the top kick ass fighting scenes I can remember, it really gets you all pumped up to kick ass in game.

Cool intro! Some of my favourite intros are those from Half-Life (excellent presentation of the base), Witcher 2 (cool animated movie), Bioshock (descending to the madness!), Mass Effect 2 (especially the moment when you are in the badly damaged part of the ship and you hear only your breath - i was totally amazed. Then comes the twist! :-) ).

* The Witcher I - I saw the intro on YouTube and though "I just have to try this game", which in turn brought me to GOG, and the rest is history;
* Heroes of Might and Magic IV - How do you set the destruction of a world and introduce a new one? Leave it to New World Computing (R.I.P.). There was a time when I knew it by heart;
* Project Eden - It sets up the world and the mood of the game perfectly;
* Another World - Yes, it's very old, but again it sets up the world and the mood of the game perfectly;

Tekken 2 has a very simple intro, but it always worked for me. I'm not really sure why, even today it gives me the chills.

By 'intro video' do you mean what plays when you click on the icon to start the game, or the intro you get when you actually start a campaign?

Maybe, although i never claimed it was the best, just i thought the intro was pretty good... Reminds me, some of the Mech Warrior intros were awesome, but they probably wouldn't get the 'best' title either.
