I was looking in the general forums and I didn't see a topic like this at all. I know it's a VERY controversial topic among gamers, but I want to know what game you had the best experience with.

Mine, it's probably Starbound, no questions asked. It's vast, seemingly endless universe with hundreds of biomes and beautiful scenes is perfect to explore. Then the music. Just beautiful.

So, leave your Best Game Experience below! I'm interested in what title I should pick up next.
HuniePop! :D
Isn't this the same as asking what's your favorite game? I don't see how that would be controversial either.

Well, the answer is Persona 3. The game had an internal calendar and I was so immersed in it I kept getting confused on which day of the week it was. At least one time I genuinely thought it was late November just be reminded later that day that I was still in early September.

the controversial because I know people who will come to blows over their game of choice.

as for persona 3... that sounds FUN! where can i get it?
Persona 3 is PS2, somewhat rare-ish. JRPG.

Mine would be Deus Ex (On Gog) without a doubt, basically you can play however you want to.

Next in line would be Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, Max Payne 3 and Arma 2. I like combat simulations.

Some others I've had a damn fine time, Evil Genius (Also on Gog), Viva Pinata, Hitman: Codename 47 (Gog), Dead Rising.

Well, looks like a few that I'll have to add to the list "To Play While In College." sounds like fun.

PS2 and PSP. Also playable on PSVita and PS3 through the PSN Store.

I've been waiting for Persona 5 for nearly 10 year and it's finally coming out in just 2 weeks, for PS3 and PS4. That's probably going to be the full month of April for me.

Which one is that? I see "T colon something" and immediately think Torment: Tides of Numenera, but that one finally came out last month.
I can't pick just one.

Super Mario Bros.: Changed everything about gaming. I got hooked as a gamer on this one so many games played.

Double Dragon: Two-player co-op beat-em up. A blast with friends in the arcade and I really liked the NES version too.

Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island: Platforming perfection.

NHL 95: I am not sure how many games my friends and I played on this game, made our own players.

Street Fighter II: Arcade and SNES. So many hours, so many games with friends.

Diablo: The reason I bought a PS1.

Diablo II: LAN parties are fun, just one more Mephisto run.

Zelda A link to the Past: So much greatness

Dragon Quest VIII: Beautiful game, best soundtrack ever IMO, great villian.

Pac-Man CEDX: Chasing ghosts and gunning for No. 1 on the leaderboard.

Super Stardust HD: Gunning for the top of the leaderboard is a blast.

TMNT Arcade: Four players. Me and three buddies kicking shell.

Each is memorable for different reasons.
Oh, I didn't realize Persona 5 is also on PS3 not just PS4.

I second that!

Terraria: Otherworld, the spinoff/sequel to Terraria
Grim Fandango when it comes to "classics", Owlboy, if we're talking about more modern games.

Wow, that's a list!

I'm a die-hard LOZ fan, and I agree, LTTP is a good one, but I'm really in love with BOTW right now.

I've also heard plenty of good things about diablo and it's ilk. I'll be giving it a spin at some point.

Mario though, the god father of all 2D sidescrollers. (God father of games. Period. Is Pong. No questions)

TMNT 4-player cabinet though... me and a buddy could spend HOURS on that.
