Market square, high noon, a royal messenger from Yaza Games enters the GOG.COM's rostrum and begins to read the message. The sound of trumpets echoes around.

Hear ye, hear ye!

Your Yaza Games team is proud to introduce a new Inkulinati Master who has entered the fray! This holier than thou Inkulinati Master has plenty of tricks up his robe’s sleeve. Ladies and Gentlemen, Peasants and Villagers, here it is, straight from Assisi – Saint Francis!

Saint Francis' love for God’s creatures is known far and wide! So it is no surprise that he commands an army of feathered, gray, extremely cute (don't let that fool you, though), and oh so adorable! *ahem* army of pigeons! Their unique advantage is that as flying units, they cost very little of Living Ink. And they have one more other unique skill - they coo. When this gray bird has finished its movement and is close by to another one of its kind, it begins to coo.

For those who may not know, a cooing pigeon is a very dangerous pigeon! Imagine this! You see a pigeon - not that frightening. You see two pigeons next to each other – OK, you might be wary. But then you notice that one of the pigeons has an... aureola! That cooing together with the areola enhances the power of its attack two-fold. Maybe even trifold! But that's not all, cooing, which is undeniably very pleasing to the ear, is also healing. You can imagine how difficult the clash with Saint Francis and his army of Pigeons will be…

The crowd begins to murmur amongst themselves.

Quiet, please! Our beloved Yaza Games team has one more announcement to make. There's one more gentleman who needs to be introduced – The Traveling Frog. This green fellow spits poison and screams painfully, which makes him a particularly obnoxious opponent. He jumps far and stays underwater without drowning. Handsome and dangerous are his qualities. Once again everyone, please give a warm welcome to The Travelling Frog.

Ok, that’s it, everyone. You may now go home or return to your duties. Cherrie-o!

Well, come on now! Shoo! Shoo!

Farewell

Yaza Games Team
St. Martin and the animal associated with him, the goose, would be another good fit.
May be too dangerous though.

Thank you for doing GOG's job, there, my friend. (I mean, really, would it have killed them to link the game page in one of those paragraphs?)

Thanks! Yeah, the above article sounded like an expansion or dlc and I began wondering if I'd simply missed the GOG release? Your link proved I'm not crazy and the game has yet to release here.
Yeah, standard GOG "quailty" about informing it's users. Oh, well.
Thanks, the game looks interesting :)

My parents used to own 2 dogs for protection. One is afraid of thunder and hide under the bed during thunderstorm and one is so reckless it ended getting run over by a car. We also owned a family of goose we put near front entrance where our pond is. They're far more effective than those two mutts. I witnessed two grown men running away from our angry geese.

Present day doves: "We're the symbol of peace and unity"

Medieval era doves: "Peace is never an option!"

Neighbour used to have a big gander patrolling his premises too, and me and my brother would always scissor-rock-paper-it-out who got to climb over the fence and collect the football, frisbee or whatever while the other would distract the fiend at the other end of the fence.
A couple times it would take too long to get the ball or frisbee out of the bushes, the gander would see through the diversion and charge over, putting the fear of god into the one who had drawn the short straw. Good times.

This news article managed to confuse me all over again. It sounds like the announcement of a DLC or free content update... but the game isn't even out now, let alone when this was written. Very odd.
