Hey Guys, thanks for the early support with both CAYNE and DESOLATION.

Thank you for making more great games, and for supporting DRM free and my preferred platform :-)

Also, I know it can't be, but... The narrator in the trailer sounds an awful lot like Morgan Freeman, but... Surely not...?

Just get us more Morgan Freeman and it's money well spent. ;)

Hunter65536: Unrelated to actual topic but since there's people who played stasis I wanted to know if puzzles are convoluted like some reviews claim.

Liked sanitarium a lot and heard it was a huge influence on the game, just have 0 patience for convoluted puzzles. Thanks in advance! (Had to refer to walkthrough once or twice for sanitarium but never felt frustrated, can't say the same about grim fandango)
It does sometimes rely on adventure game logic (spoilers ahead):

There's an early puzzle where you need a corpse's hand to operate a fingerprint scanner. The corpse not being portable, you need to cut off the hand. You can visit an area where there are rusty surgical instruments, but they're just a scenery description. You have a portable drill, but no, you can't use it to drill through the bone. The actual solution is to break a pane of glass and use a broken shard as a cutting tool.

Great game overall though.

IMO STASIS has some of the best consistently good practical-application puzzles in an adventure game. To me, it all makes sense in the world and nothing is convoluted. To me using the glass to cut off the hand makes sense - practical application - those instruments lying around are not going to get the job done, in a stupid-video game, they probably would, but the logic is sound here, and all over the game, for puzzles!
Good to hear, thanks for chiming in guys! :)

Just heard about Beautiful Desolation and will definitely buy this once it comes here. Also saw Cayne for the first time so I was wondering is there any chance we see this title here too?

We spared no expense! :) His voice does sound very Freeman-ish.

Thanks a lot drealmer 7 for starting this thread, beat me to the punch!

This is the first time I ever crowdfunded anything but in this case it was a 100% no brainer because The Brotherhood have already more than proven themselves with Stasis, to a point where I'm willing to help crowdfund any future projects of theirs regardless of the theme.

Played and finished Cayne a couple days ago and it made for a very entertaining evening of quality gaming. I haven't played any games in 2016 in order to focus on other things so I decided that the first game after such a long break would need to be something fine, and Cayne delivered a very satisfying experience. Could almost not believe they released that for free. At close to a third the length of Stasis, Cayne had more gameplay than I expected, thought it would be a tech demo of sorts but it's an entire little adventure game, something other studios release as full priced episodes.

Double backed Beautiful Desolation a couple days ago so I'll have one copy for myself and one for a yet undefined lucky other person from this forum. First game purchase I made in 420 days so that says something about the priority I give to this new project.

drealmer7: update!
With GOG review at the moment. GOG is very particular and always make sure that the games work as promised. I am sure it will launch soon! :)

Thanks! I wanted to be sure you knew I wasn't demanding an update, but announcing the latest one!

EXCITING!
Will definitely pick up Cayne when it comes, especially if it's just five bucks like on Steam.
