That's not really a proper list, as there can be people with OCD who have none of those issues, and also people with those symptoms who do not have OCD.

I don't think I am unnice to GameRager. I just can't be bothered with him most of the time- his approach to foruming is very much at odds with mine. Not sure what that has to do with OCD or how that is an excuse for (potential) inappropriate behaviour, but I've never seen GameRager use it as an excuse (but the OP knew somehow, so maybe), so the whole thread seems odd

GameRager, along with simply just tea and lemon, depending on your spice cupboard, you could also try peppercorns, cardamom and cloves if you have a sore throat or blocked nose that needs clearing.

That one user wasn't trying to make a proper list, they were almost certainly trying to make fun of me(Hence them posting the other stuff with that same post, which was either hyperbolic or incorrect) with that post & the OP here as well.

(Some seem to think i'm some sort of forum master genius troll trying to ruin the forums, or that I complain for no reason....I am just a man who speaks his mind albeit civilly and I get upset when people insult me for no reasons or low rate everything I write as I see it as disrespectful)

I don't think the OP meant you, but the ones who low rate everything I post...even the nice and ontopic posts, or the ones who insult me for no reason.

As for why he did it: I am guessing it's due to him asking me why I get low rated and me telling him about my issues and why some low rate.....he must've thought it proper to ask people to treat me better & made this thread to do so.

I have peppercorns, but would need to buy the other stuff....will stock up on such things and try them next time, though(I am feeling a bit better as well, so no need for some of that atm thankfully). Thanks :)

That's a byproduct of how the forum operates. Once you have a reputation for certain kinds of behaviours, you'll have that reputation even when you aren't doing those things. People with specifically gained reputations like TinyE (or whatever he's called now), or Fairfox or dtgreene or Tauto for example, have those comments and downreps even follow them into threads where they aren't doing those things.

And just peppercorns work as well, I think, but might be a bit spicy.

It's almost like the rep system is a bad idea...

You helped at least one person get to know and understand me better, and this thread showed me some others have respect for me(including some I didn't know about) which cheered me up. It also can help anyone who sees it(while it's up anyways) know more about me if they have some misconception....all in all it did more good than bad, I think, so thanks. :)

We have new mods now so hopefully people won't be able to insult others and me and get away with it as much as they do.

As for the rules.....they were likely made that way to make mods jobs easier, sadly....blanket like and vague as they are. They also give mods more leeway to forgive some things, though, which allows more lenient mods to use restraint and go to their own judgement which is good sometimes.

As for the youknowwhat system......eh, I only worry about people seeing me as low rated=me being bad or some new people missing my posts if they want to read them/get to know me better....so no worries, though yeah if they fixed or tossed it it'd be nice.

Yes, but it shouldn't be.....people should give others a chance to be "redeemed" in their eyes, and not just write them off and never look back, as people make mistakes or can give off the wrong impression sometimes/etc......I realize this is easier said than done, though.

Thanks...don't need it now, though....the pain is mostly gone and i'm regaining strength(just took a 11 hour nap earlier after losing a ton of sleep). Thanks again, though....I will remember it for the future if need be. :)

TBF the uprating is fine....that could be kept along with limiting uprates per day per account, and we'd be better off than now.

First off, do try to be careful not to get too "political"....this thread is nice and uplifting for the most part and i'd like to see it stick around a bit(but your call, as always).

Second, he does get low rated from time to time....the low raters are just high rating him and others now likely due to them figuring anyone who disagrees with me should be uplifted/shown for all to see

In all seriousness finding someone who you disagree with and can still have a decent discussion is rare for me. Usually whomever I'm talking with will agree with me or talking down to me on how wrong I am. Neither is particularly stimulating or eye opening and should be get to a small healthy dosage. If your views are so fragile they can't survive the knowledge that someone knows exactly what you know and disagrees with you, then perhaps you need to rethink some things.
