I don't want to enter in the merit of the discussion, but scientifically speaking humanity will eventually evolve until we are all dark skinned and with black hair. They are dominant genes, after all, where pale skin and light hair are recessive traits.
Even Asimov in his Foundation made things so, with only very rare colonies that had little interaction with the rest of the species remaining white and blonde.
From a technical standpoint, it stands.

There's something to be said for picking your battles. Argue over every little perceived slight, and you exhaust everyone around you to the point where pointing out something substantial leads to nothing but eye rolls and resigned sighs. Even if BattleTech was the most racist game in the entire world, what's the worst that could possibly happen from letting it slide? It's difficult to imagine the potential good outweighing the bad of burning up your currency with people by being nitpicky about the creative choices of an entertainment product.

But thanks anyway for trying to see things from another perspective. That's not always such an easy feat.
