There is no Superman 3 and 4.

There is only 1 and the Richard Donner's cut of 2.

I still think Superman 3 was the best. I have to be honest, I didn't like any of the Superman movies. Lois smokes like a chimney. You can practically hear her lungs crinkling as she talks. You can see the wires plainly in almost every flying shot. The acting is horrid. The writing is sub-sub-par. The only redeeming factor is the music. I can hum the tune and feel the amazement that is Superman in my head, but not on the screen.

At least in Supes 3, they went to sheer ridiculosity seemingly on purpose. I felt like I was laughing at a horrible movie because it was supposed to be a horrible movie. And when watched right after watching Office Space, it adds to it.

Great Caesar's Ghost, I hope this BvS movie is good. But I have no faith in the director, and I've yet to see a Superman movie I've loved. With a little convincing, I decided I liked the last one. But grudgingly so. :)

I think Afleck could do a great Batman. I can't wait to see him in action. And I like this new Superman guy. He does a good job. They just need some good writers and a director who knows what he's doing.

Me too, especially with this angle, an older Bruce, years beyond the traditional one we know fighting off the Joker.

Side note to all, and if I missed it in here sorry, but I just found out the villain is Doomsday but with a TOTALLY different origin and story than the comic which means we can expect DC fans to be picketing the movie. :D In this case I don't really blame them because man, they didn't alter the story, they threw it out and started a whole new fucking story! :P

So much for the giant question mark graffiti spotted in the 1st trailer.

I really don't think you'll find many people who give a shit about Doomsday's origin. Besides, they've messed a lot with his story already in the animated Justice League show, and everyone pretty much loved that.
