Same, though for entirely different reasons. Sure, Lex looks ridiculous, but I'm way more concerned about how much it looks like they're trying to pack into the movie. Unless it's 4 hours long, I really doubt they can flesh everything out and build up to the confrontation between the eponymous characters without one of the many elements in the trailer feeling tacked-on.

I remember hearing stuff that WB may go as far as to split this movie into 2 parts.

So far its not that case but mabye that's an indicator that this movie will at least be 3+ hours.

Good for me because I love long movies.

This is the first time I've actually started to worry about this movie. Luthor is just terrible. It's everything Lex Luthor should not be. It's worse than Hackman's or Spacey's Luthors. Why on earth could they not make him like he was in the DC Animated Universe? That's the version everyone loves. And we get Doctor Luthorsano. I mean it's fucking exact, right down to the lab coat. They could have hired Spoony for the role.

And they spoiled way, waaay to much. Damn. I want to stay optimistic. I loved Man of Steel, and I think the cast, other than Luthor, is spot on. Please, don't let this be DC's Age of Ultron.
I'm speculating.

So instead of Bizzaro Superman, Lex Luthor made Doomsday rather than Bizzaro.

Also that sequence of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman together.

Breja: I'm not sure if it's sad or funny that some people keep clinging to that irrational hate for Affleck as Batman.
I wouldn't say I have harbour hate toward him being Batman.
I just don't think he is good actor.
He was not bad in Kevin Smith's movies but but elsewhere he is just... meh.

Also I think he doesn't fit the role. I don't hate George Clooney at all (I wouldn't say I love him, though) and I think he was miscast terribly as batman as well.

DoomsDay looks like a LOTR troll reject. The best part of that trailer was Affleck was half decent as Bruce. I didn't have high hopes for this movie and that trailer hasn't changed my mind at all on that front.

I never thought "Looks like 2003 Hulk" or anything like that.

Do you hate CGI or are you just not that vested in DC Universe lore?

It did not make me think it was going to be better than the avengers movies, but my kids are super excited about it, so I am sure we will see it.

Because compare pics side by side (especially the troll from Fellowship who stabs Frodo) and they are really similar. Also since when did Doomsday shoot laserbeams from his eyes? I'm not even going to comment on Lex.

This movie is going to suffer from the same issue Spiderman 3 had -- too many cooks in the kitchen.

I thought Superman 3's issue was the hamfisted on the nose propaganda against smoking :P

Superman evil clone is spawned from a fusion of Kyrptonite and Cigerrates?

As to Doomsday well the reason is because he has Michael Shannon's eyes. So Michale Shannon himself is probably a Half-Troll.

Well trust me, there is a super computer in it. :D There is also a woman who gets eaten by it and turned into a 'android' thing by it; special effects by Jimmy and the rest of his kindergarten art class. :P
