It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

mrkgnao: Just to report that I tested mine on FF 44.0.2 just now and had no problem.
Perhaps you have some privacy settings (hidden wishlist?) that affect BE?
avatar
moonshineshadow: Well that was never a problem before and the others don't have a hidden wishlist....
Hmm.... but I have an idea *goes to test something*

[edit] Found the problem. It happens if you are not using the option to replace "Account" with your username.
Impressive. I wouldn't have thought of testing that.

Well it was the only thing that changed since I last synced with the wiki, so logic said it had to be the problem :P
Thanks for catching that problem. Version 2.4.2 is up and should fix it.

Sorry the Chrome version isn't up yet. Things happened that threw off my schedule, but I should be able to get it ready tomorrow.

I'm planning to make a small 2.5 release soon, which will add controls for developer text colour and the ability to change the case of the text in the nav menu. The search feature for legacy pages has been causing a bit of trouble so it probably won't arrive in 2.5 (although we might get lucky)

As I mentioned in this post, GOG.com logo (nave bar) is not fixed yet. It still uses "https" in http mode. Is it possible to fix it?

vulchor: Any news on when the new version of the chrome extension will be up? Mine is still at 2.3.7.2, and it's driving me crazy because the notification number next to account always disappears.

Grargar: It's already 2.4.1 for me. Try forcing Tampermonkey to update manually.
I don't use tampermonkey, I use the chrome native version.

Yes, it's on its way :)

evoblade2000: This looks pretty cool. I do have a question though, can it hide games that you don't own on GOG? I would like to hide all of my Steam and Origin games so I don't accidentally buy duplicates. I'm not looking to automate this, I would just like to be able to mark a game so I never see it again.
It can't do that yet, but I'll keep that idea in mind for an upcoming version.
I’m using the native Chrome extension, most recent version (2.3.7.2).

When I try to Share with GOGWiki, I get the following message: “It appears that you have an old version of Barefoot Essentials which is no longer supported by the wiki. Please update Barefoot Essentials and try again.”

I’m assuming this will be fixed with v2.4, but I wanted to report just in case.

Well, 2.3.7.2 isn't the most recent version anymore:

I personally switched to Tampermonkey (also Chrome user here) recently just to be certain I'll always get the most recent version...

Same here.
BarefootEssentials 2.4.2 seems not to work with Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.39 and the SM-Port of GreaseMonkey (2.3.0.1).

It does not start the games list from GOG and just sits there.

Is there any possibility to make a standalone GOGWiki Updater (rest of the Barefoot Essentials seem to work alongside Adalias Essentials fine)?

edit: did an update on gogwiki with opera, if anyone wonders.

BarefootEssentials 2.4.2
Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.39
GreaseMonkey 2.3.0.1rc1pre [http://sourceforge.net/projects/gmport/]

On my system, BarefootEssentials appears to function as expected.

There is a newer version of the Greasemonkey Port.

Oh, I thought the project on https://sourceforge.net/projects/gmport/ was dead. After upgrading to the current 3.6.0 port, it works now.

Thanks!
I don't know how I only thought of asking for it now, after years of suffering, but here is a feature I would love:

As you know, I post quite a bit in the "what did just update?" thread and many of my posts there contain extra lines of spacing to separate information related to different games. GOG, in its infinite wisdom, when one returns to an earlier post and opens it for editing, automatically deletes all consecutive lines of spacing in the post, leaving only one. Which means that every time I edit a post, unless immediately after I posted it (I always Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C every post I make), I have to go through the post and reintroduce the extra lines of spacing.

Is there a way for BE to prevent GOG from deleting the extra lines of spacing?

That's a good one.

My experience says it's quite inconsistent. There have been times where the edit window showed only one line of spacing, yet the edited post retained my initial format, and others where it didn't. Not sure if quotes, tags or links in one's post play a role.
