moonshineshadow: Awesome, thanks. I tested it just now and the problem with the footer and the threads is fixed for me.
But the problem when using the search function and going to any restult page other than the first one still results in the footer bug for me.

HypersomniacLive: It's the "Smaller spacer before the footer" setting that's causing this. If you disable it, all result pages display correctly.
Ah thanks. So I need to take either the annoying space or the search function problem ;-) Since the search function is already bugging a lot I know what to choose :D

I'd rather have the search function problem than a 10 cm space at the bottom of every page, so I'll choose the opposite. =P

I think you misunderstood, I should have worded that better. I meant that since the search function is already completely buggy, one more problem with it does not matter and therefore of course keep the smaller space :D

Yeah, it was the 'bugging' that led me to believe it was bugging you more than the vast space, rather than it being buggy beyond hope. Sorry 'bout that. >.<

Or you can disable the specific feature while you do your search and re-enable it when you're done. :-)
At least until Barefoot_Monkey figures out a way to fix this issue, if it's fixable that is.

Yeah you are right :-) All this would not be needed if gog found someone capable of doing a good website design :-(

I suspect that lots of the issues exist because GOG does not have separate versions for desktop and mobile devices.
A friend was telling me that when they access the site on their cell phone, it automatically changes the way the content is displayed with no option to revert to the "desktop" version. And contrary to GOG's claims, the revamped site is not particularly user friendly or light enough on phones.

JaqFrost: I just checked to see if I have the same issue and I do. Firefox, 50 post setting. I don't think the GOG website/forum works particularly well with Firefox -- before Barefoot Essentials there was that godawful chasm of empty space in between the meaningful content and the footer.

HypersomniacLive: I often think that too. From my exchanges with GOG staffers, it'd appear that everyone at GOG uses Chrome and the site seems to be optimised for it as no one has every-day experience with Firefox.
I don't know how representative this is of GOG, but the statistics for MaGog for the last 5 weeks (~1,300 hits) are:
- 52% firefox
- 32% chrome
- 5% mozilla
- 3% opera
- 3% safari
- 1% internet explorer
- 4% bots/crawlers/others/unknown

Cheers for these. So, almost 60% of MaGog users are on a Gecko engine browser. Would be interesting to know if this is also the case for GOG.

I'm not sure if it needs clarification, but my comment was about GOG staffers being all on Chrome, not GOG users.

EDIT: Search now works without issues. :-)

Not sure what exactly the issue might be, but I've noticed that whenever I install an updated version of Barefoot Essentials, the first pages I open, load a lot slower than usual, especially if I open a few simultaneously.
