It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

A couple of suggestions I recently had to include into Barefoot, all of this should have an on/off switch:
- Mark (in pm) people appearing in the known scammers list in the GogWiki - full post here.
- Have a compare tool of current games in library and in GogWiki profile - full post here.
- Automatically add game specific forums for recently added games (until Gog fixes this), could work with the compare mentioned above.
- Also add the "new" icon and notification of said games. Maybe link to the what did just update when there is an "update" notice
- Add Regional Pricing info when applicable on game pages of titles that have them.
- Default DISPLAY currency in Barefoot no matter what is on site (Not sure if it's relevant but people complained the Gog choice doesn't stick).
- Mark "check wiki" when relevant information is not on game pages regarding Online features (Gog somewhat lacks in that area).
- Track your giveaways and giveaway participation. Well more like optionally have a list of ongoing ones you had participated in.
- If you try to redeem a code that had an expiration date, and didn't redeem it, track that date to remind you if the time of expiration is near.
- Notice if a wishlist item is on sale/promo? Maybe notice if it's in a bundle (not on Gog, using gaming deals thread) too? Track voted wishlists?
- Sort s. results by date (or at least hide anything that wasn't posted in for over 2 years!). Add a "search in Magog" automatically generated link.
- Show # numbers on all time Bestsellers list :) Also track this number for the first 100 titles (with a +# -# from the last manual check).

By no means I say any of this would be easy or hard to accomplish, nor I aim for a quick dispatch, I'm merely suggesting what I believe could improve this wonderful tool :)

Thanks for everything! :)

JaqFrost: There's something funky going on with 'collapse footer' where the menu is below the actual footer (with the copyright info) until you scroll up from the bottom of the page. Then it moves up under said footer and eventually collapses.

In the nav bar, 'movies' still shows despite my having unticked the box to make it go away. =P

I am so grateful for this script, and that the awful huge space before footer disappeared thanks to your efforts, Barefoot_Monkey. You have no idea how happy you've made me. =D
I can confirm this erratic behaviour of the footer.

Also, not sure if this is related to the above, but when I do a forum search, the footer now hides the bottom page counter, so I have to scroll back to the top to click on the next page.

Since BE is not an application in itself and it works by altering existing pages with whatever GOG provides or can provide, some of the requested things feel a bit far-fetched from my point of view, like registering the forums or keeping track of GA's and gift codes. Several features on your list would requiere access to a database and would make pages slower.

Of course, Barefoot Monkey might surprise us but I would not expect such features in BE.
I just released a small update, mainly to handle some recent changes to the gog.com's website code:
- GOGWiki links on gamecards are restored
- The collapsible-footer feature is temporarily disabled until I can get it to stop misbehaving
- I made an icon for the "gifts" button in the account menu

Awesome response time to the changes.
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the quick update, love the gifts icon! :-D

Super fast response (it'll probably take MaGog a week or so to recover).
Already miss the collapsible footer (didn't misbehave for me), but I fully understand your decision.
Love the gift icon, too.

True, but i figured these will be as minimal as possible - registering the forums for example should be done with a click of a button (that will initiate a couple of web pages loading) upon adding/scanning the library or as an automatic behaviour of the same with a switch. Of course it's for Monkey to decide if such activity is justified for BE :) Thanks for all your support :)

New version :)

The collapsing footer is back - now it works on forum topic lists as well as in the topics themselves. Unfortunately I can't add it to the entire gog.com site in one go, but every now and then I'll add support for more areas.

Also, I made a custom icon for the giveaways topic group.

Let me be the second.
Everything looks and works lovely now, cheers again! :-DD

Just to demonstrate what I meant in my post here, see attached screenshot.

I think you can easily reproduce this by doing a forum search that brings up more than one pages of results.

a request:

i don't use steam for anything, but they have a "very similar" essentials script that shows one thing that i think would be particularly useful to everyone here who is trying to save money.

whenever a game goes on sale it goes on sale for x% resulting in a saving of $y.

it would be useful to have the "lowest price" a game has gone for that shows up /somewhere/ on the page. i haven't looked at essentials, so i'm not sure how much back-end there is going on there, but....
Thank you for the update, Barefoot Monkey! The collapsible footer now works like a charm and I really like the icons for gifts and the giveaway topics group. =)
Anyone else using Opera version 12.x not able to update this script? userscripts.org times out when looking for scripts...
