Version 2.9.3 is out, which implements Bookwyrm627's idea of moving the "necropost" label off the post itself and into the gap before the post. It should now do a better job at its intended function (indicating a significant span of time between posts).

Thanks for continuing to work on this tool. It has been lovely to use.

PookaMustard: Microsoft Edge for the Windows 10 Anniverary Update got support for the Tampermonkey extension!

Now you can use Barefoot Essentials with Edge! Since I have a GOG wiki account, I'll add Edge to the installation procedure on the GOG wiki page! After installing Tampermonkey for Edge, you should then install Barefoot Essentials.

Here is a for those who want to see it. In addition, if you don't want to use the Windows Store for getting Tampermonkey, you can [url=https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ar6sDvz1zhVksi7wokXS0Cjpmp3d]download it from my OneDrive and sideload it yourself (the process is simple, double click the downloaded file on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update if you have App Installer or summon Powershell, find the appx and type "add-appxpackage *.appx")

The thing that doesn't work for me on Edge at the moment is sharing the library to the GOG wiki (which works in Firefox). The rest look fine to me.
That's a really nice development. Thanks for letting us know, and for updating the wiki :)

No problem! Will you look into getting library imports working though? BE loads the GOG account fine, but not the game/movie collection or wishlist (it is stuck on "waiting"), and sending to GOG wiki is stuck on "sending." Would be lovely for that to work on my default browser.

Version 2.10 is up

This is a very small release, adding one feature: the ability to hide or remove the GOG Galaxy banner on the front page. It remains visible by default, but you can change that by changing the "Visibility of front page Galaxy banner" option in the "Misc" tab of the settings.

The difference between "hide" and "remove" is that with "hide" the banner disappears leaving an empty space where it was, whereas "remove" takes it away entirely without leaving the space.

DyNaer is already frustrated with it. It seems to be implemented the same way as the GOG Galaxy banner, so if one clears cookies/cache it keeps returning.

Alright, made a quick update with an option to hide that notice. I made both options a simple checkbox to hide or show (if you've already hidden the banner then you'll need to re-apply the setting).

On Firefox this should persist even if cookies are deleted, because the settings are stored in SQLite. I haven't actually tried having GOG cookies delete after every session on Chrome, but that uses local storage for keeping the settings so it might be a problem. I'll check out what happens when I get the chance and look into migrating the Chrome extension into extension storage instead for a version in the near future if that's needed.
