If you mean the Community Giveaway thread, then you may need to check your forum settings. Scroll to the top of the forum page and look for 'My Settings'. It should be on the right side under the black bar that contains Store, Community, Support, and your username. Click on it and make sure you have the box that controls 'Hide Posts with negative rating' unticked.

Your post in that thread was downrated - by other users, not zeogold - and this may have ended up hiding the thread on you.

As others have noted, zeogold is not an admin on this site and cannot ban anyone from any threads whatsoever.

Bah. ...but seriously my dude, I haven't blocked you from anything and hold no ill will against you. I don't have the power to do that kinda thing, nor do I have any reason to. My chat's always set to "everyone", so the only reason you wouldn't be able to PM me is if you haven't changed your own chat settings from the default "friends only".

That being said, being able to hide the whole dang thread for somebody who got a low rating on one of their posts in it is a new one on me. If this is seriously a legit thing now, this could be good and also go horribly, horribly wrong.

Do you mean post 1883 in the thread "The Community Giveaway - GOG Edition"? Only one person replied to you in that thread about that post, and that was tinyE, and that was nowhere near a hostile response. You're obviously barking up the wrong tree with your assumptions.

Do other people in other forums usually react to you in the way you assumed was happening (though it isn't happening here)? Is that why you assumed there's a special admin team with zeogold, and then assumed they and not him banned you, and then assumed you could work it out with zeogold rather than the team whom you assumed banned you? Oh, and then you prepared yourself to assume it was vengeance for…for…a few words?

Now that you have said in post 1892 that it's all back to normal, have you reflected upon this thread you opened in regard to your reactions?

Are you sure you weren't expecting there to have been an adverse reaction for your post in the other thread, and so the first thing that goes wrong must have been that adverse reaction you were expecting? It seems odd to me for you to claim that you "stated clearly it was an opinion and was in no way hostile" but then make several assumptions about getting banned for it even though the first response to your post was polite.

It seems to me you set yourself up to see something and so you readily saw it even when it wasn't there. But maybe that's because I'm used to seeing a lot of defensiveness on these forums. Maybe I'm just seeing what I've seen before (or what I think I've seen…).
