Hello everyone! This is my second Giveaway and the game I decided to give away, is Banished.
Why? Because I have many games in my list and I'm afraid I will not have desire to play it.

The rules?
Write down why you would like play it, I will choose the winner at random by tomorrow or when there will be at least 20 messages (so that everyone has a fairly high chance of winning), as soon as I realize that there will be 20 post (or a few more), I will write the post of the end of the game.
There's just a limit, at least 15 reputation points.

I don't think I've ever played a city builder game. Civilizations and similar titles where you conquer and manage I have, but this would be different, more focused in a small location and population. It'd be an interesting take, and a godd change from my recent trend of shooters and open-worlds.

It seems to be a good game, according to most of the reviews, and I understood that it was developed by one person(!) and that awoke my curiosity: a good game made by only one guy when there are countless of bad games made by entire teams.
I know I won't hit the mark in order to get it for free from this sale so thank you for the chance.

There's multiple reasons why I would like this game, I'd really like to grow a little town, strategy and building games are some of my favorite gameplay, they can keep me up the latest at night because there's always something to do or fiddle with or improve, I love Tropico 3 and Black and White. I was hoping I might be able to pick this up in a giveaway because it being a bonus game in the sale. Someone dropped a code awhile ago, it was already taken. It's still rather pricey but a very small download, it's high on my wishlist.

I'm not in (despite my interest in the game) due to the fact that I'm not even sure if my PC supports the required shader model 2.0 and I'm simply not comfortable letting online tools such as System Requirements Lab scan my PC.

Awesome game, lots of fun! Once you get the hang of it I recommend the colonial charter mod, really enhances a lot more with more variety of food, animals, and buildings.

Maybe we can do this in a roundabout way. Here is a list of GOG titles that include "Shader Model 2.0" in the system requirements. If you have played one or more on your machine, perhaps you do support it:

The only game from that list I've played is Little Inferno so it seems this game would run just fine unless the 'or greater' phrase in the minimum system requirements means it isn't a strict requirement: Mrkgnao is the best. :)

And that has me slightly worried with regard to future compatibility.

I did search for info but without coming across any definitive answer. I followed this guide and ran the DirectX Diagnostic Tool but that didn't help much.
