a4plz: I've really been getting into Black Sabbath lately. You in the mood for some classic heavy metal?

N.I.B.
Into The Void
Warning
Into the Void isn't doing it for me. The others are pretty decent.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Hands down from MY tiny-E! It is mine! My precious!
Why bring up tinyE?
A bit random isn't it.

Nab tinyE.

adaliabooks: As for more rocky stuff, I could recommend quite a bit but I imagine you'd already know most of it...
I doubt it, I spent most of my music time listening to older songs. :P

omega64: Into the Void isn't doing it for me. The others are pretty decent.
Ah, I guess you didn't listen to the end? The track would've been SO much better if that deadly riff at 5:04 was the main chorus.
avatar
adaliabooks: It's not quite rock, but having just seen them in concert (kind of) on Monday I've been singing their stuff all week;

The Beautiful South - Don't Marry Her [original explicit version - HQ]
Really like the songs, especially this one.

I did not.
It's way too long. :P
avatar
omega64: Rock preferably.
avatar
vv221: You should give a try to Creedence Clearwater Revival (youtube.com)
I’m pretty sure darthspudius will second my suggestion ;)
Really relaxing.
avatar
Matruchus: Evergreen rock title for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgzGwKwLmgM
That's cheating. :P
Still an amazing song though.

darthspudius: The new Babymetal single is out. Karate! Quite hooked to that strange band. :D
avatar
NuffCatnip: Sorry, can´t help you with rock, but I could name a couple bands I like listening to. :)

Megadeath, Disturbed, System of a Down, Godsmack, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, Lamb of God, In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch.
avatar
darthspudius: Ah Nu-Metal central. Isn't this kind of thing for 15 yr old kids in like 2002? :P Its like the early 2000's version of Madonna and Kylie Minogue. So trendy and dated.
Babymetal is really strange, love the song though.

omega64: Rock preferably.
avatar
WinterSnowfall: This has been turning up in my head rather obsessively this week.

Or maybe something more rough?
Bowie. :3
Not really into this song but still a decent song.

The other song is great too.
avatar
omega64: I really like Iron Maiden and Rammstein when I'm in the right mood of course.
Sidenote, what genre are those?
Metal?
avatar
rgnrk: Rammstein is usually considered NDH.
Neue Deutsche Härte.
That to me is more align to goth than to metal, funnily enough.
Obviously there are band within that genre a lot better that Rammstein. But then, Rammstein is too well known, and that's a minus :P
Is it? :P
avatar
omega64: Anyone have some music I could listen to?
avatar
dtgreene: Undertale has a very good soundtrack. You can find the music (as well as fan remixes of the music) on Youtube.

Like, for example, this Bonetrussle remix:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIuBpl7k_eU

Back on topic:

I think we should ban both tinyE and the banning of tinyE. Also, where's tinyP?
avatar
Crosmando: Ban everyone
avatar
dtgreene: Agreed. (Of course, this means banning both Crosmando and dtgreene. It also means banning all the blues.)
avatar
PookaMustard: Eynit naB
avatar
dtgreene: And of course, ban all black magic users! White magic users only!

(Wait, isn't that racist?)
The undertale soundtrack is great, sadly can't buy it on GOG. :(

Granted. Unfortunately, your tiny-E isn't as good as mine, or, for that matter, tinyE's tiny-E.

Wait a minute, what's a wish granting doing in this thread, especially when the post being replied to wasn't a wish?

Also, I have another question: Why is the E in "tinyE" not tiny? In fact, it's the biggest character in the name!

He's a hypocrite.

I did it, listened to all linked music. :D

A question, are we supposed to destroy tinyE by throwing him into Mount Doom?

Interesting. I think I've listened to a couple of similar Japanese bands in the past. It's sort of a death-pop-metal mishmash... most of their lyrics are something I'd normally associate with pop songs.

Iron Maiden is New Wave of British Heavy Metal (possibly the most awkwardly-named music genre in history). Rammstein would probably fall under Industrial Hard Rock.

British Heavy Metal? xD
One of my favourites is still Pink Floyd's The Wall.

NEW wave of british heavy metal. It was the second generation of heavy metal from the UK. The first being the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, UFO etc in the '70s. Then came Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Saxon and so on in the '80s.
