darthspudius: The new Babymetal single is out. Karate! Quite hooked to that strange band. :D

NuffCatnip: Sorry, can´t help you with rock, but I could name a couple bands I like listening to. :)

Megadeath, Disturbed, System of a Down, Godsmack, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, Lamb of God, In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch.

darthspudius: Ah Nu-Metal central. Isn't this kind of thing for 15 yr old kids in like 2002? :P Its like the early 2000's version of Madonna and Kylie Minogue. So trendy and dated.
I listen to pretty much everything, but I´m very bad with names, those are the ones I remember by name. :P

You guys should try Onmyōza, they are amazing. :D

Try Vermingod and Dawn of a Dark Age. Now that is heavy.

I've really been getting into Black Sabbath lately. You in the mood for some classic heavy metal?

It's not quite rock, but having just seen them in concert (kind of) on Monday I've been singing their stuff all week;

The Beautiful South - A Little Time
Beautiful South - Song For Whoever
The Beautiful South - Don't Marry Her [original explicit version - HQ]
The Beautiful South - Rotterdam

And a playlist of Paul and Jacqui's new stuff

As for more rocky stuff, I could recommend quite a bit but I imagine you'd already know most of it...
Is the thread title a hint for the next AAA release here on GoG?

Pretty good, thanks!
I don´t know why, but The Black Dahlia Murder comes to mind.

I have never actually heard that band. But the two I mentioned are pretty big in the independent scene. Well worth picking up if you like your metal very dark.

Here is one of their songs.

Will check them out. They sound pretty good.

If you like them, you can get a pretty cool tshirt with their cd's. I think Dawn of a Dark Age are selling all four albums for a cheap price with T shirt at the moment. You can also listen to their albums on bandcamp I believe.

Not sure if it's considered AAA, but if it means we get Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, I can kinda get behind this thread :P

(just joking, no one wants the ban of our favourite one-balled eldritch abomination)

NuffCatnip: What kind of genre ?
avatar
omega64: Rock preferably.
You should give a try to Creedence Clearwater Revival (youtube.com)
I’m pretty sure darthspudius will second my suggestion ;)

Thanks! I came across bandcamp a couple times, but never actually cared to visit the site. :)
I should change that.
