Hello friends!
24 hours from now I will give away a Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition steam key.
To win, tell me your favorite RPG skill!
In obviously:)

bumping this coz it should be on the first page

Hello adventurer:)
I'm surprised that this doesn't have many entries. I have spent so many hours with the original Baldur's Gate series, including busting my head to install mods in the correct order. Maybe people would prefer a GOG version but we cant have everything and BG2 is BG2. Can you tell me any differences between the BG2+Throne of Bhaal and this enhanced edition? I have noticed a "Pits something" quest, is there more content? And can you install mods in general or they are incompatible?

In other news, my favourite skill is disable traps, I hated traps since the first time I was in the Candlekeep catacombs without a thief and the lightning traps were bouncing from wall to wall like a full power chain lightning in my party's face. Since then a thief is always a member of my team. Especially in NWN, my main character was a thief and I could use this skill to recover traps and my was carrying around 20 deadly traps:)

Another thing I used to enjoy in BG2, was to get a single class high level good cleric, and go in "sanctuary mode", turn undead and watch vampires explode in Chapter 6.

Offtopic, have you ever tried Edwin vs Kangaxx 1 on 1? Or clear the drow city with the mods that give more/better troops?

There are plenty of mods for the Enhanced Edition. I believe if you check the Beamdog forums, you can find links to many of them (I wouldn't advise posting there; just search the forums for mods). Yes, there is new content (and some new companions, I believe).
I'm IN please

I'm no RPG expert but I do like pickpocketing, feels like you're really getting away with something. Still I normally build up my strength for combat, maybe I should be focusing more on magic? I've only really managed to use magic as a weapon in Oblivion. Risen and Oblivion being my 2 favourites of the genre.
Great idea!

My favourite RPG skill is conjuration. It great to mess around with raising people from the dead. Once I was walking around Whiterun (skyrim) with some vampire by my side. It also allows you to (pretty much) get deadric weapons at the star of the game, which can be very useful.
I'm in. My favourite RPG skill is Animate Dead by Arthas.
Not in, but thanks for the great giveaway! +1

I have no specific skill which may be considered my favorite, but I really loved system of perks in Fallout 1&2 (with their trade-off character) and system of disciplines from Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines (for its uniqueness).
i'm in.

My favorite power is Crushing Prison from Dragon Age: Origins. I like it because the enemy can't move for some time and it makes him takes damage and that makes so useful in combat.
I'm in. My favorite rpg skill is lockpicking; bashing or casting at locks to open just doesn't feel right to me.
I'm in.
My favorite skill is Dodging, because I hate a pain =)
Thanks for the giveaway!

I love pets in games to take the heat off my caster, so summoning-type skills are my fav.
Speech or Persuasion.

I love being able to persuade, bribe, intimdate, confuse or lie my may through a game without having to do anything other than speak :3 Makes me feel like I'm some kind of mastermind manipulator, really fun haha
I like summoning... I'm very lazy and I rather get some golem to work for me.

Thanks!
