In patch 9 they added the Paladin class and an option for non-binary gender. The mentioned Solasta also has such options.

Are you for real? A huge amount of games are based on the concept of killing. People making out is far more ethical by default, because it doesn't inherently involve violence.

It is this double-standard that makes me distrust the character and motives of puritans, because they are basically advocating that violence is a good thing.

Randomly accusing people of being a bot is not the mark of someone who is honest, fair, or good. You can dislike Kai's position, but using "BOT!" is just a mark of you lacking the skill to articulate why you dislike anything. No one will trust your opinion, because it is clearly not in good faith.

Implied, through the countless violent games that puritans do not speak out against. Battle Royal type games, for instance. Who is "the good guy?" What of the games that have factions with differing values, such as those in Skyrim?

Even if there are good reasons to kill, it should be acknowledge that killing most things is an act that deprives the possibility of enjoying life. That it goes unremarked and unacknowledged by puritans says volumes about their character.

A bit of a moral conundrum isnt it? Playing a good guy or a bad guy. An act of murder is a personal problem as old as free will. Personally I never understood why so many people think sexual content is worse than murder.

Adding to a game, another aspect of morality, only adds to realism and depth to what makes for a good or bad person. Like the topic itself here. It prompts delving into. Thus if a game details certain questions, it could possibly be a good element.

...and then there is politics with an agenda.....which kills media. Politics Im not interested in. Plus its against forum rules anyway. But the politics in any media will pass and afterwards, nobody wants that media anymore. Usually because nobody cared or it was or is afterwards, a non-issue. Hence it kills media.

Honestly, it's not about the bear sex itself. What annoys people is that if they had shown a scene with a big titted, hourglass-shaped Drow, you know that the very same people who are praising it now would be screaming bloody murder. And don't try to pretend like that's not the case.

We've arrived at a stage where gay bear sex, a literal furry fantasy bordering on bestiality is brave and progressive but sexy female characters are myiogynistic, disgusting satisfaction of the male gaze. Have your furry fantasy, but play fair and give me sexy female characters to romance too. You too can choose not to engage with it you know... Double standards is what people are getting sick of. Anyone not seeing the uglification of female characters in the western media in the last... well... decade or so, is in denial.

Also, marketing your game by an obvious drama bait doesn't really leave a good taste in most peoples' mouths.
