StingingVelvet: I was surprised there were zero clickbait articles (that I saw) raging or "deeply concerned" about Cyberpunk's character creation stuff like boob size and bare labia. I mean I was all for it, especially considering the setting of that game, but it seems like a think certain people on both sides of the political aisle would be eager to turn into rage clicks.
Considering that you can only observe your character in the Inventory menu, a few mirrors after pressing the Use action (upper part only), a few elevators only with RTX enabled (only head and hands in version 1.4 and below, haven't played the later versions) - not that surprising to me. I saw a few complaints on Steam and Reddit about bust size if it counts.
And to see all of this, one need to undress the character completely in that same Inventory menu. In intimate scenes, you can admire your hands with implants, fancy! But for the rest of the time, players were forced to dress their characters like beggars.
Also, the developers decided to leave the final cutscene as it is (in 3rd perspective), and for the first time, we can observe our character in game, amazing. CD Projekt destroyed any desire and opportunity to admire the protagonist in pursuit of illusory *immersion* which they break in the process. They lacked the wit to replicate the approach of Deus Ex 1 because gamers can't have only the good things.
In Baldur's Gate 3, although the characters are decently dressed most of the time, we can at least enjoy their good physical shape, plus the explicit scenes gives the full opportunity to appreciate the... the... makeup, yes.
Here, it seems to me that everything will be approached more seriously than in Cyberpunk 2077.
