Downloading the offline installers for the base game as well as the patches instead not an option?

Going to take a while too but at least you can be sure that it won't get stuck during the installation process.

I started it, but for the offline install, only the first 13 of 28 files are shown.

Might want to completely get rid of the prior incomplete installation first before installing again from the offline installers, things could get bungled and you'll end up with an even bigger mess otherwise.

Enough free space both on the partition or drive you're downloading and then afterwards installing to is important as well. At least the size of the installation, obviously, but I usually go for twice that, in this case 220 GB.

Collapse and then expand again the Baldur's Gate 3 game card (e.g. by clicking on the card of another game) and/or refresh (F5) the page.
Should show everything then.

Also, if you're expecting an expedient response, GOG doesn't work the weekends.
If anyone is still having problems, someone on Reddit offered this advice:
1. In the GOG Galaxy window, click the cogwheel in the top left and choose Exit.
2. Install Microsoft .NET runtime 6.0.21. You may need to restart your computer afterwards.
3. Start GOG Galaxy again.
There's now a support article about this with some different suggestions:
Download stops at 92% and other installation issues

---

"C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Configuration

where *username* should be your Windows Account Username.

You might need to show hidden files and folders in the "Folder and search options", if you haven't done so already."

It's disappointing to see the above needlessly convoluted nonsense. You can just enter %LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\Configuration and it will resolve to the correct folder on your system. No need to mess around with hidden file settings or anything.

Common GOG L? GOG's support staff less competent at computers than users? You don't strike me as a SysAdmin.

Reads article, does a doubletake.

So what, does their support formatting not support code blocks/monospace? This feels like a violation of every computer book and video I ever saw.

That's been my experience. But they put out a support article for a common problem with a popular game, and that's more than I expected.

I didn't want to complain about the directions wrapped in Polish curly quotes followed by (without the quotes), as if there's no way to add emphasis.

They also have the duplicate article Installation via GOG GALAXY stuck at 92% which uselessly just says they're aware of the problem and they'll fix it. They should just delete it. It's embarrassing.
Hey everyone, the Team is currently looking into this issue. I'll let you know once a fix has been deployed.

In the meantime, if your download is stuck at 92%, please follow the workarounds provided in this support article.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience.

FYI, starting double quotes there have become double commas O_o
Better fix them before people make a mess..

They're not commas, but Polish quotation marks.

Oh god, every country has its own weird way.
Ok then, even if IMO it would be better to use the more common/standard format.
