darthspudius: Sounds reasonable enough to me, but leave out the Steam is terrible shit. I'm not a GOG fan boy and want to make my own opinions on their client. Which by the way works perfectly and always has done for me personally.

At one point I entered my Mass Effect CD key on Origin and got the game there. I wish more of my games could be converted to digital versions this way.

Steam is shit. The client is shit. The service is shit. The customer service is shit. Most of the games available on Steam are shit.

That's really not up for debate, you may know how to navigate the shitstorm that is Steam, but damn boy it's shit. You may even like it, it's still shit.

It seems that most people who have already owned a version of BC2 on steam or Retail had it activated on origin now as well. For BC2 you had to make an EA-Account which WAS kind of a seperate account to Origin. I was not aware of that either. These two accounts have just recently (15.Oktober) been merged.

Its MY reasoning. I can put in as many pointless details as I want; including the truth that its terrible. As long as I deliver my final reasoning, there is no issue in using them.

Yeah I was able to do that with some of the EA games I bought digital on amazon so I can either download on amazon or on origin. Sims 3, dragon age, mass effect 2, etc.

Your reasoning doesn't make sense. "steam is shit" isn't an argument. Poor customer service on YOUR part COULD be up for debate, but I haven't had ANY problem with steam in the 8 years I've been with them.

Oh sorry, it WAS slow, about 8 years ago, but 7 years ago, they turned that around.

They DID have problems with offline not working very well, 5-6 years ago, which were fixed 5-6 years ago.

They have ADMITTED customer service IS a problem, but again, they are working on it.
Sorry, steam is shit isn't going to fly.
