Announcement: Hi all!

Does anyone know whether Oblivion is likely to pop up during the flash sale (or any sale at all)? I'm not able to pay enough attention to sales here to make an educated guess, so if anyone has any input here, I'd greatly appreciate it!

(I didn't want to start a whole thread for this simple question, but if I made the wrong call, my apologies.)
None of the Bethesda titles are on this sale, so unless a future surprise later in the week, i would say no, sorry. I don't know anything, it's just a guess... :S
GoNNER 79% off
So, except for Samorost 3, which it is still on sale (at 70% vs 80% when on flash), all the rest are games not discounted while they are not on a flash deal. Their DLC's, for those games which have, remain discounted, it seems.

I assume it is safe to say that we can buy any other game on sale that is not on a flash deal because those will remain with the actual discount and we will not see any surprises later? I would say so after the first day and also because GOG will probably see a lot of refunding if the games appear discounted heavily after being bought during the week.
A long time ago, GOG run a sale where discounted games got even more discount. But like you said, that created a big backlash and people hesitated to buy, so they stopped doing this. It's worth to keep an eye on games where the DLCs or the other parts of a series are discounted but that game not. E.g. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is the only PoP game without a discount, it might show up as a flash deal.

Thank you, i have various titles i want to buy but i was waiting to see the behaviour of the sale just in case... :) The DLC's thing is a very good clue to follow.

The Samorost 3 discount was for the Cosmic Edition, not the base game.

Oh, yes, now i see it, you are totally right. The base game with a 80% discount is not 4.59 eur, but 3.99 so yes, then there are no exceptions for the flash deals! Thanks!

That's a shame! I've got an Oblivion itch, but I'm currently between jobs, so no full-price spending for me nowadays. HOpefully it'll pop up in a sale later on, or I'll just pick it up when I've got another job lined up. :)
Major props to The-Business for keeping the tradition of these tracking threads alive! Much love to GOG as well for doing another Flash-style sale and giving this community something to rally around for at least a short while. Thanks again for maintaining a record of these sales. I am curious to see when/if they might start repeating more often and if we can glean some sort of pattern once that starts happening. Happy hunting, everyone!

EDIT: I've added the prices I missed, thanks to RWarehall. I also decided to alphabetize the list.

The issue with the US prices is that I can't always look them up easily (VPN on desktop is doable, but else it becomes a pain). The percentages seem to be the same. Can anybody calculate the prices for the deals we had so far and compare them maybe with items which are on sale but not part of a flash sale? Then I can add those likely prices to past and future deals.

Percentages are the same, except where the rounding throws it 1% off. And GOGDB lists US prices, right? So anyone interested can check there. Trying for other regions is going to be messy though, can use MaGOG for anything falling under the scope of its Legacy Mode, but for newer titles no such luck.
[Insert another rant about regional pricing here and consider I said it.]

Was that it? Is it gonna be repeats only from now on?

Let's hope tomorrow there's new games added to GOG Connect, to the Flash Sales, and to the regular sales.
Yep, yet another repeat. I guess it's time to hit the sack, then. Bye! ^_^
