Great news!
OK GOG, you had your pudic little "we won't allow regional pricing on old games" spiel, you can now bring back the Nordic catalogue regionally priced too.

Wonder what will happen once distribution contracts will have to be renewed - I doubt any publisher will choose flat over regional pricing, even for their old games. And once regional pricing has become the norm instead of the exception, what will happen to the "fair price package"?
I think the problem with Nordic games wasn't old games getting regional pricing per se, it was the fluctuating exchange rate. That's why the Nordic titles that were pulled included releases from 2013 and 2014 that went for $30 each, hardly old or classic.

That's what you say, but it doesn't quite explain why three of Nordic's games did actually remain here regionally-priced (Book of Unwritten Tales 1+2, Raven: Legacy of the Master Thief).

In the end it's more or less the same. Nordic didn't want the flat prices for different local currencies (because of fluctuating exchange rate). Instead they wanted the same 1$ = 1 Euro regional prices that Steam and several other stores use. GOG on the other hand didn't want regional prices for the old games in the catalogue.
Wow, I completely missed this announcement, this is great news and am very happy to see these amazing classics be brought back to GOG's quality store. Thank you!!
This is good. A rule of thumb when it comes to new polices such as fair region pricing is let the old games be old under the old system if you need to and make sure that the new ones stick to the new system. This means you can keep both your policy and your games. Like having your cake and eating it to.

I think they should use the fair price system but allow their older games to remain region priced if needed.
