What is the limit, now?
The limit is 50; I used it to add my preferred pronouns to my forum title. The increase was very recent (like, I think it may have been this month, actually).

You know, the set that you get when you iterate z^2 + c at every point c and check whether it goes off to infinity, right? Specifically, the set consists of those points where it does *not* go off to infinity, but you already know that, right?

(By the way, in the complex domain, there's only one infinity; there's no distinction between "positive" and "negative" infinity when that concept is mentioned.)
All this time I thought it was from a SNES game. Maybe Earthbound. I haven't played that game specifically, it's just a guess.

As for my avatars, I steal them from Google images. It's whatever I'm in the mood for at the moment. This is one I have now is the dragoon from Starcraft 2. I like machines and robots, which makes the dragoon my favourite unit in Legacy of the Void.

tfishell: Yeah I only noticed because somebody else lengthened his forum title. :) It's like 50-something now I think.

Just because no one wondered. This avatar is a photo taken several years ago of a small dragon statue I have holding his front claws up in what I imagine is a "can everyone just please shut the fuck up, I can't stand all this damned noise" gesture.

I really need to take a new photo and make another avatar due to a few reasons:
• The square border doesn't mesh too well with GOG's new round avatar template.
• I want to use it elsewhere, but elsewhere usually wants larger avatars (even if they sometimes are only displayed scaled-down).
• I can't find the original image, and the scaled-down and cropped versions I have are both too small and of low quality.

lolz! I don't watch too many movies*. Don't think I've seen m/any classics. Certain Lee not sci-fi. Anyhoohar, which is teh best? Liek... can you just pick one or do they run in order? Not sure I want to watch three... I get antsy, espesh. if others aren't watchin' :/

Whether or not you might eventually end up watching all of them (and yes, it’s extremely important to view them in chronological order) the first one is unquestionably the best and most important of the bunch so please do yourself a huge favour and watch it as soon as Fairfoxly possible (when you’re not prone to getting antsy)! If you aren’t already well aware of the fact, you’ll soon realize why Michael J. Fox is an absolute living legend!

No, that doesn’t sound silly at all. None of the three films in the Back to the Future franchise are gory (though all my other recommendations (apart from Planes, Trains & Automobiles) are to some extent so do consider yourself warned…).
