I never changed my avatar since I joined, it fits too much.
Botanicula is one of the games I'm most fond of: it's artsy, it has awesome music and overall it's...warm.
It never fails to make me smile. That's all! =)
My avatar is a photo of me as a babe, and all these years later I'm still a babe.
Kabuto. Because Kabuto.

dtgreene: The black thing in my avatar is a rotated Mandelbrot set.

You know, the set that you get when you iterate z^2 + c at every point c and check whether it goes off to infinity, right? Specifically, the set consists of those points where it does *not* go off to infinity, but you already know that, right?

(By the way, in the complex domain, there's only one infinity; there's no distinction between "positive" and "negative" infinity when that concept is mentioned.)
Seriously, all this time I thought your avatars were Rorschach tests that you had just added backgrounds to. True. :P
Now I'm really confused...

But anyway, Light Yagami, because Death Note.

I will create an ideal world. By being an insane murdering psychopath.

(Not really, I'm pretty harmless.)

Mine is the face of a space pirate named O'ren Rock from the X3 games. She is wanted for countless crimes across two empires. The Bankrupt Assassin start lets you play as her.

"The Programmer" from Strife.
The logo of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, taken from the cover of the soundtrack by Amon Tobin. One of my most played games ever and still one of the best stealth games out there, which in itself is my second favourite game genre. Unfortunately, still not on GOG. (Wishlist entry here)
This also explains the text below my avatar picture, I was lurking the forums a long time, watching what happened without adding to it myself. I maybe change my avatar once in ten years, atleast the current one is in use for ten years now. It's been used by several people though, as my nickname, which grants me a certain opportunity of staying incognito while still being recognized if needed.

Mine, as many of you who have been around GOG for awhile will know, is a mammoth to represent my first point and click game Syberia. It is the game that launched my love of point and clickers. Looking forward to Syberia 3.
