Although probably never published on GOG, I came to enjoy Atelier Arland series and other titles of Atelier series (mainly Dusk trilogy) is very attractive wish for me.

On Steam comes another Atelier game, Atelier Ryza. Published 1st November 2019 it comes with lots of change to the series like different tools for gathering and revamped combat system. Not to mention other differences, like said by JRPG Jungle:

I'm currently enjoying Atelier Lulua and own all Atelier Arland series.

Does anybody else play this series or have played it? Maybe not the most relevant of things on this forums, but what do you think of this games?
Would probably be interested, if there was a DRM-free release.
Always wanted to play it but never got around to it. Will probably try to step in on Ryza

Confirm that. The games are actually pretty fun time management/JRPG's. Would love to see them on GOG.
would like to see it released on gog too, but it has already been 2 years (almost) no news yet to come :(

Not likely to come. Japanese publishers/developers do not seem to like DRM free. Only notable exception AFAIK is Nihon Falcom (at least at gog.com).

Sad, but true. It sucks even more when you are not fan, like me, of Falcom stuff.
They're OK, but they're one of those "you've played one, you've played them all" type game series.

That's more tied to specific publishers.
You could always contact Koei Tecmo and request them to release games on GOG. I mean, what's the worst that can happen, you take 5 minutes out of your day, and they still don't release on GOG?

Koei Tecmo never uses Denuvo for their games on Steam, so if enough people request GOG releases they might do it, and see what kind of sales they get here. I know I'd buy the Ryza games, the upcoming Ninja Gaiden collection, and some other things from them here on GOG. I hardly ever buy anything from Steam these days, so they'll never see a sale from me there.

But yea, couldn't hurt to try and request it. You can fill out the form and leave the feedback / request, and or just e-mail them.

noticed how they entered steam somewhere last year i belief and now it feels those games are literally all over the place

The stories are different though. People come for the story
My experience has been limited to Ayesha and little bit of Escha & Logy. With my backlog, and the frequency of games games released by Gust, it would be difficult for me to keep up with the series. I do want to play Shallie at some point to complete the Dusk trilogy, but regrettably it's a little late with the price of PS3 games going up.

I would love to see a DRM-free PC release one day,
I've played Rorona and Totori, while I like it in general (battle system, story, characters, music), my biggest let down on them was the time mechanic. Any action you make consumes time and I felt like I hadn't too much freedom to go to get the materials or even go wherever I wanted without failing quests or missing a time-based event. I like when games have lots of quests, but when said quests become a chore, the game slowly loses all its fun...

Of course, I'd love to see them released here, maybe I'd give them a second chance :P

I'd like to say IDEA FACTORY/COMPILE HEART too, but it has been more than a year since their last release (VIIR and Re;birth DLCs) and nothing more after that. There are lots games I'd love to see them releasing on GOG, but I'm starting to lose all my hopes...

People like cringey anime stories? I came for the crafting system which is the main pull of the series imo.
