phaolo: Oh no, Mobygames.. and by (fake) Atari, which doesn't exactly have a good reputation nowadays : (
illiousintahl: what's wrong with atari these days?

It is not Atari. Basically what happend is that Atari got into a lot of economic problems after the game chrash in the mid 80's. which resulted in being bought by Hasbro. Infogrames bought Hasbro in 2001, and kind of quietly winded the whole thing down, just using the brand on some of the games they produced. Then in 2009/2010 Infogrames changed their name into Atari.
So the Atari of old no longer exist, and the Atari of today is bascally Infogrames. Today Atari has gone into partnershi with ICICB Group, which is a finicial company based out of Dubai specialising crypto currency, hedge funds, Blockchain etc. Atari has given ICICB Group a license to create a new gaming platform (not much detail) which is supposed to be financed comepletly by Blockcain and Cryptocurrency. we must wait and see what that really is, though, but expect a lot of NFTs.
