Just a random question. I assume most people are carbon since it's the default but I prefer aluminium. What about you? :P

Carbon. Dark themes are bae.
I legit forgot there even is a lighter theme here and was quite confused for a second :D

I use the carbon theme but I like the silver theme better. I used the silver theme for a long time until I discovered the dark theme and now I'm saving it for when I want to feel nostalgic.

Also, from the title, I thought you were asking about cooking utensils so I'd like to say that cooking on cast iron is considered healthy because it makes your food more iron-ey.
Carbon. I don't usually go for dark themes but on GOG it feels cozier. Almost like a fan-made website from the good old days.
Neither.
Carbon, I like it better.
Dark is Art :D
Altered Carbon.
I take the dark theme, because I've got a dark personality.
Dark theme. It's the default and I usually only change defaults if I find them objectionable.
Carbon, but aluminium isn't that bad. I dislike overly light/white websites a lot, as much as I dislike staring into a flashlight.
I compare it to a flashlight because "modern" monitors are (always/often) a lot brighter than older ones (when they were new)... It's even worse when they're relatively big (screen surface).

Because monitors project (bright) light into your eyes, I don't consider it a "color preference".
Carbon. Light grey on silver (the Subtitle, Reputation, Registered Date & Location text underneath the user-name) does not go well together at all.

It's grey on grey. The Aluminium theme doesn't use textures (that's what's needed to show silver on a screen).

Well whatever it is, the guy who designed it must be the same one who put the news section right at the bottom during the site redesign. ;-)
