I guess I just don't have the patience for such crap I would have had in the past. Right now I'm living through the nightmare of conspiracy theory nutjobs ruling the country and rewriting recent history, so people trying to "preach" such nonsense no longer seem funny to me, just dangerous.

Also, as this seems to be where some people are drawing lines, my distaste for preaching conspiracy nonsense does should not suggest to anyone that I support Hilary Clinton. I pretty much despise her, and as for further details of my opinion on the upcoming US election, I don't really see this as the place to discuss it.

I mean, he could be saying that there are conspiracy theorists in power who happen to be trying to rewrite history, but I'd cite that more as a problem of his government structure than the worldviews of the people doing it.

No matter what beliefs you hold, that doesn't give you the right to change what's been recorded as happening. As a conspiracy theorist, you can certainly feel free to look at these recordings and determine from them that something in them is fallacious, but that doesn't mean you can rewrite it. That's a whole different bag of chips right there.
