hi,
i haven't bought GOG games lately, but now i'm considering buying something. but, last time, when i bought and played Pillars-of-Eternity, there was the issue of patches being late.
i mean, the game after release received a lot of patches from the developer, but somehow the patches were there on the steam-version, but the gog-version got them much later (days/weeks). i know 'days' sounds fast, but when you're having a game-breaking bug, that is fixed in the steam-version, it's not fun.
if i remember correctly, the explantion was that while on steam, the developer releases the patch directly, on gog they are given to gog, and then gog releases them.
so i'd like to ask, how is it working lately? are the games getting the patches the same time as the steam-version?
