WBGhiro: You know it's a boring day if there's topics about the weather on forums.
Either that, or the weather is interesting.

You wouldn't see a topic saying "It's a nice 68 degree F (20 C) day outside!" for example.

Breja: Just remember to walk without rythm, and you should be fine.

Avogadro6: Uh? That protects you from sandworms, not heat...
Well, If it's so hot there and a desert and all that, I figured they must also have sandworms.

You would, if it was a nice 20C outside.

Where I am right now it's sunny and 65.
Well, not *always*. Just taking a random January date where the high was only 66 (which was actually close to average).
47'C ? How the hell is anything still alive there. (In Phoenix)

They die, burn, and are reborn from the ashes.

You either didn't click my link or decided to ignore my joke. :P

Tough to cook, the Phoenix. You gotta trick it. Poach it or something.

tinyE: Where I am right now it's sunny and 65.
Convert that into a temperature unit that makes sense, please. Either C or K will do.

The only thing that matters is the 6-8 foot seas right now. Kind of fucking with the charters and tours.

You measure stuff in parts of human limbs? How barbaric.

Maybe it's 65 C where TinyE is? If so, I certainly hope TinyE is finding a way to keep cool.

(Note: The highest recorded temperature is apparently "only" 134 F (58.7 C), though there is apparently a disqualified record of 58 C.)

dtgreene: Maybe it's 65 C where TinyE is
No, it's 65 C where tinyE is eventually going. Maybe more.
Speaking of high temperatures, apparently in Iran there was an unconfirmed temperature reading of 87 degrees.

Sounds relatively warm?

Well, there's one other detail I didn't mention: That was 87 decrees *Celsius*. Yikes!

(Of course, this temperature reading is unconfirmed, so it might not have actually happened.)

(Also, this temperature supposedly occurred back in 1967.)

sunshinecorp: Well, considering that Absolute Hot is theorized at 1.416785(71)×10^32 degrees kelvin, that's NOTHING. NOTHING.
Again, that's ~ 142 million million million million million degrees.
Absolute Hot? After that matter just goes kablooie or what?

Leonard03: Absolute Hot? After that matter just goes kablooie or what?
Well... there's no actual theory to explain the behavior of matter at such high particle energies (ie no quantum theory of gravity and the such) but more or less physics as we know it would stop applying and break down, as the gravitational force between particles would be immensely strong.
Also, it's not the only theory about max temperature around...
