Nirth: A full on geek fight and no one answered this.

Continuing on the infinity discussion.. so you science people, what would be your theories to X divided by 0? I was always curious about it and I never really receieved a satisfying answer.
We made a concerted effort to convert to metric a while back. That didn't go over too well. :P

Point is the government knew it would be a good idea but the people said "NO!" so for a definitive answer you're going to have to come over here and start polling people.

The problem with that is... if Americans use Fahrenheit because it's 0 - 100, then why don't they use metres, litres and kilograms which follow the same scales rather than pounds and feet which are as incomprehensible as Celsius apparently is...
