I've found Shadow Warrior reboot so fast, so brainless, I was just mashing buttons to kills something moving on the screen.

All those details in that beautiful environments: wasted by a completely retarded gameplay.

Even the humour, could have been classed as retarded = not fun at all.

Dosbox Daum version and It has opengl and Directx emulation and even 3d card emulation for dos games that needed 3d cards!

It also has it's own proper Menu too!

Ah!

That sound really promising!
I have thousands of dos/voodoo games.

Perhaps I can resume them

I still have my pentium 200Mhz with a 3DFX Voodoo 1 in working condition.

fr33kSh0w2012: Most "Open world" games BORE ME TO BITS and modern Corridors shooters like Wolfenstien II: SJW paradise
I must go against the stream and say I found Wolfenstein 2 awful in all departments, too. Especially when taking in consideration its predecessor, one of the very few modern shooters I liked.

That depends on the game.

By some reasons I have a lot of fun with Serious Sam series, but on the other hand games like Firestarter bored me veeery quickly. In case of Painkiller I feel that it has its "ups and downs", on some levels I felt exhausted, on some I had a lot of fun.

I'm guessing that a lot of it depends on interesting arsenal, monsters we're fighting with, level design etc, Guys from Croteam are IMO incredible, because almost every "arena" in SS series is made so well, that I didn't had feeling that I'm forced to clean every "cube" full of monsters in eternal loop.
