I'm talking about tons of glitches not being fixed and just ignored... I'm talking about more games in their catalog with multiple levels of DRM you have to go through... I'm talking about their client not being as responsive as it was in the past(pages loading more slowly, being forced to click multiple times to get a page to load). And the main store page is just a huge cluster fuck. Showing me a bunch of games, simply because I played games in the past from a certain genre. It's like they stopped giving a fuck...

'Quality'?

Thanks for the chuckle. :)
Steam's motto is: "quantity has a quality all its own".

Quantity is the only thing Steam has going for them now...

Damn, only 2712 for me :/
It's a swirling midden filled with garbage. The problem is that even when there are good games, it is not swimming through the shit to get the occasional nugget of goodness.
What glitches? They are finally paying for discovering security flaws.
Multiple levels of DRM is not their fault, it is just a store not a dev or publisher.
Yeah 50% of the games in the store is pure garbage, but it is not new. At least they don't reject some decent indie games.
The client works fine for me.
Main page is a big ugly mess, I wonder how effective is it.
Steam Quality
I don't care if Steam has shovelware. I don't trust them or anyone to tell me what games are good/bad. I'm better at filtering games out that I don't like than some corporation is. I wouldn't want t to see games being removed just because it's "popular" opinion that they're bad or sexualised, which usually just means they're niche or sexy. I also wouldn't want game removed because they're buggy, because then we wouldn't have things like Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The customer is the decider of these things. That said, I use steam as little as possible because of DRM, censorship and overall shitty practices.
Going down? Let me take a look... nope, seems normal.

Do you mean that there was a time when it wasn't so laggy?
