This has happened several times for me, but not quite like tonight. I tried posting a comment in a thread FIVE times and it never showed up even though it "acted" like it was all good. You know, hit "post my message" and the box clears, you get a wait time of some short duration, the thread then reappears, but usually with the new comment. Tonight, five effing times the same thing, acted normally, but not showing up.
But I did notice a couple of times previously that when I encountered this issue it seemed to be when the post I was adding was the one that would take a thread from one page to a new one. So, after failing to have my post show up FIVE TIMES, i want into My Settings, changed the number of posts in a thread to be shown per page from 50 to 30.
Then the post shows up. ALL OF THEM. lol (Well, all of them were there but they had been merged into one as the forums do when you make a post within 10 minutes of your last post and no one else has posted in between).
Okay, so now I'm sure it has something do with the fact that the posts were the one causing a new page to be started.
What I don't know is, whether this is an issue for everyone or just me, in which case then I suppose it could be a browser issue? Thus my question. If others have seen this, then it's a gog issue. If no one else has seen this, then it must be something on my end. For the record I use Firefox.
I'm not sure if it happens every time my post is the one that requires the start of a new page, but I am pretty sure that when it does happen, it was when it was a post requiring the start of a new page.
