It doesn't load for me, all I can see is a white screen. And when I hover the mouse pointer over any user, instead of the usual start conversation, invite, date of registration list I get "Sorry, data for given user is currently unavailable. Please, try again later."

EDIT: Until support deals with the problem I will be using a new account named potpurri for everything chat related. That includes any future trades and giveaways I make or enter.

From now on, if you want to contact me, either search by copying the new account's name from my forum title or go to post 7 in this thread to find a post I made with the new account. If I contact you via chat from now on, I will always point you to that post and you can verify that I'm who I claim to be by starting a conversation from there.

Nope. Both work fine for me.

What browser do you use? Chat works fine on Pale Moon and Chrome for me.

Do you have another browser installed? Can you try it and see if it occurs there as well? There was a thread some time ago that was reporting problems with chat on Firefox.

The only problem I experience with the chat is the well known one. The chat crashes Firefox after a few minutes. I somewhere read on the forum that this doesn't happen with the nightly build but I don't like installing beta software so I simply wait for the next Firefox update to check again and try to eade the chat as much as possible in the meantime.

I've got Chrome, though I've never used it since I don't know how to install adblock plus on it. OR at least, the real adblock plus. Last time I tied I got a list of sketchy looking similars.

Edit: Just tried it, same issue. Maybe it's an account problem like the one mrkgnao (if I remember correctly) has with his friends page.

Create a new dummy account and see if it works there. At least you'll know whether it's associated with your account or your browser.

By clearing a browser's history but, on second thought, this also occurred on Chrome, where you said that you didn't use it.

Yes, it is the same with Chrome. Also tried clearing hstory just in case but no luck.

I made one and chat works there, thank you fo the suggestion. At least it isn't some bizarre my computer thing.

It leaves a bad taste in the mouth having to depend on an alt for pms though. Come to think of it, I should probably make a proper announcement of it, since I've got a giveaway going and was planning on entering some and/or trading in the future.
