I can't post messages with links in them, it says "You cannot post any links at this moment."

Yes for sure

As you do not have sufficient rep, as indicated by the number below your avatar, the forum SW will not allow you to post direct links. You need a positive number (IIRC 10) to post links.

You can get around it by putting your link in an empty quote tag (quote) (/quote) but with square brackets instead of normal ones.
