I stumbled across this website: http://www.classicgamingpresents.com/ and placed an order for the Civilization collection (CIv 1 and 2...both of which need to be on GOG). All I got in the download was ,after installation, a folder named Console and two desktop links. One was to the website and with the other all I got was a error message saying the Server did not respond...and I know my Internet connection is working fine.
Anybody have dealings with this website? Or have I been taken to the cleaners for a small amount?
In any case, the website has NO explanations on how to use it, how the ordering system works, etec, and the link to Community just says COming soon.
I suspect I am dealing with a fly by night operation. Anybody got any info?

And, yes, I did contact their support and got no response.

You might wait a bit just to see if their servers are having trouble, but the website does indeed seem fairly suspicious. Hope it isn;t true, but you may've been scammed. :/

I am only out six bucks, and for me that is not much,I just hate the idea of being scammed even for a dollar.
The wierd thing is that the Warcraft purchase went just like a gog purchase.
THey do have a reputable company handling their puchases,so it might just be some technical screw up.
I actually have Civ 2 and it's two expansions, but I understand that they do not work or even install on Windows 7 64 bit (the 16 bit program issue again) but that the CIv 2 Gold collectoin (which is the one for sale on the site) does work with Windows 7 64 bit,. SInce I ma getting a new computer in a few months,I am trying to solve some problems advance.
Yeah.... The idea that these guys actually made contracts with whoever owns the Civilization license these days, as well as Games Workshop (Shadow of the Horned Rat has a page) is very, very slim.

At best they are selling cracked pirated downloads, most likely they are selling nothing and it's a scam.

Do a chargeback with your credit card. And report their asses to them.
Hmmmm... Lemmings, Destruction Derby, Mortal Kombat, The Simpsons Arcade Game? Oh, and here's a good one: Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe! Right. I'm sure that was sanctioned by LucasArts alright.

Undeniably a scam site, through and through. Not to mention how incredibly lazy the site layout is.
Just use their "Contact Us" page.... "This is contact Us page."

Riiight. Do the what others have mentioned and you might even want to request a new card since the information on the one you used for your purchase might not be in the best of hands now. Just a thought.
One Must Fall 2097 is on sale there...pretty sure it's supposed to be free. I guess I'm just adding to the notion that its a scam site.
Here are some comments about the site (which differs from the WOT rating)

Was there an actual installation process where you gave an executable rights to fiddle with your computer? Because that might justify some paranoia. Y'know, viruses and all that shady stuff.
I like the Mass Effect art on a site calling itself "Classic Gaming Presents".

Give it a few years, the reviewers will be calling Mass Effect 1 "the classic that started it all" or something
I'm sorry, but when you fall for such an obviously fake site you deserve to be scammed. Consider it a life lesson. And I would block my credit card extremely ASAP.

Have you read any ME3 reviews? They already are.

Same here. Although WOT scores OK they took my money and provided nothing. On trying to dowload you get Server does not respond, and neither does their 'Customer Service'. Ended up getting refund from my credit card company. Also note the do not accept Paypal which should have warned me. AVOID
