I'm playing the Witcher 3 and I feel like I'm starting to forget the quests I've done. I haven't played Oblivion in like a decade but I still remember many of the quests in that game. Anybody else have that problem?

I don't even remember what I had two days ago for breakfast. So mostly no. I remember general things about games, but rarely specifics, except if I begin to play them again. Then I slowly start to remember.

Who remembers quests?
I do remember few memorable incidents but not the whole game.
I can't even tell what I had in breakfast.

I think the more common problem around here is forgetting the games we BOUGHT.

I'll play a game I've never played before only to discover a end game save, and sometimes the memory comes back to me.

What's worse I usually forget to play the games I bought... even if I live in a developing country, it seems I start to have first world problems.

Not remembering makes it more fun to replay your favourite games.

Nope, there are games I saw the trailer for or screenshots of that I can't remember though.
W3 is pretty forgettable though, so I get it.

Is it at least a good novel? I know I bought Hitchhiker's Gude about 4 times, but mostly because it fell apart. Foundation I think only twice. So far.

Why is that a problem? If you can't remember the details of games, shouldn't this increase replayability?

They aren't talking about details, they are talking about the games themselves. :P

That's like the difference between forgetting your kids' names and forgetting that you have kids.

Just think if you had Alzheimers: You could have tons of fun with the same game forever! =P

Hmm, some people probably would be happy if they could forget about their kids...if you have children, there's no guarantee you'll like them.
But still, I don't see the problem with games...it's not that important after all. But if one's troubled by it, why not keep a list of games played? I've actually started to do that for books I've read so I won't forget any.
