Just asking because I don't buy DLC so I can't be bothered sifting through pages of soundtracks etc... that I would never buy, nor the "special editions" which only add a soundtrack.

I'm here for the games not the worthless (IMHO) DLC.
Unfortunately GOG's store searching leaves a lot to be desired. However, you can always use MaGog. You can filter to only show regular games, plus tons of other options.

Oh, it's not just dlc you may want to filter, company filters (I.e. Beamdog, top ware, telltale, tiny hole), dlc as you say but that comes in all forms from pictures and manuals through soundtracks to actual quality extra content rare though that is, also games owned or not interested in etc. However it's never going to happen as that's not gogs focus, they just want to sell you the items.

Beamdog - I assume because of the whole "Enhancing" the original games.
top ware - why?
telltale - I assume because they have been using the same ancient game engine for the last 200 years.
tiny hole - who are they? did you mean tinybuild? If so why?

Beamdog, yes, "enhancing, ruining old games and removing originals etc.
Topware - microtransactions in Two Worlds
Telltale - yes, constantly releasing a few pictures with the big buzzword attached to it.
Tinybuild - not tiny hole (mobile auto correct) if there is one shovelware producer its this one, not to mention they are crippled/lacking a lot.
They are just the ones I can think off the top of my head, but there are others.

Completely forgot about that. But wasn't that just a Steam release? I know that they also recently released a DLC here, but I haven't been keeping up with it.

Could be, however I wouldn't trust them at all with such a move, I certainly wouldn't be buying their DLC, nor would I download any further updates on their games just in case.

You are too unforgiving. :P

I agree that some preventative measures, such as not downloading newer versions of their games, should be taken. Hopefully, this was just a miss-step, and they'll learn from their mistake.

Except that Magog doesn't works with recently added games :/
