Putting Ride to Hell:Retribution made me remember the Zero Punctuation review lol.

Anyway, Two Worlds gets my vote. I still think it's not good, but it is getting a remaster and a sequel so maybe it's just me.

(This is a tabletop RPG, much like Dungeons & Dragons (but worse).)

I've always failed to see the appeal in "so bad it's good", especially in games since you have to play through it. But Deadly Premonition is one people commonly hold as a good video game example of the trope. It's 90% off too, to my surprise.

What I find difficult to deal with in this trope is that, for the little I played it, the gameplay was fine and, yes, it plays itself completely serious and ends up being funny due to all the crazy stuff happening, but surely that was done on purpose.

I guess to me there's no "so bad it's good" if you enjoyed it then it's just good. So I don't know how useful my suggestion may be.

Trine 3. Buggy as heck, fun to laugh at.

I've made it about 85-90% through Damnation, and I liked the Tomb Raider style gameplay action and the graphics were decent, which are what got me interested in the game. Sadly, as many reviews have pointed out - the game AI is absolutely terrible. Half the time your ally AI just stands there doing nothing when it should be following you, or it gets in the way and wont move, or other stupid crap. The story is kind of weak too.

I'll probably finish it off sometime this year just to get to the end, but it got frustrating at times due to the dumb AI and other weak elements that seem like they rushed the game out the door unfinished.

Daikatana actually isn't too bad, especially if you add the significant community patch and manage to stomach the opening levels or so.

Holy shit, you weren't kidding. That's got to be some of the funniest gameplay I've seen in a while.

Yeah, it really is hilariously bad, you don't have to do anything, the game will break itself sooner or later.

The original SaGa (Final Fantasy Legend). The battle system's programming is riddled with tons of bugs, yet the game manages to be enjoyable despite (or perhaps because of?) all the bugs.

The SAW bug is just the tip of the iceberg; even the programming for basic STR-based attacks has a bug (in this case, the effects of blindness are inverted).

It was buggy alright. :P

In order for a bad game to be funny or entertaining, it has to be broken or do something very poorly but want you to take it seriously. Personally a game like Duke Nukem Forever is as dull as dishwater. Just bad design decision one after the other, but nothing really all that funny or broken that stands out.

Shogo and Blood 2 are great examples of bad games that are so broken, so cringy, they're funny. Both games were rushed, the engine is utter garbage, the bugs, the glitches, the lack of any AI... just everything.

Games don't work that way for me. Like when I played Bloodnet; That game is flaming garbage and was of the "so bad it was good' genre if there ever was one. My brief time with it was a lousy experience.

Watching an LP of the game on the other hand (with some guys who works for the company in question). was like watching a bad movie with your mates.
