Just wondered if any new old games (Fantasy Empires, SimCity Classic, SimPark, SimSafari, SimIsle, SimTower, Black & White, and there are others but maybe there is some news on some or all these titles
1. GOG usually doesn't announce releases other than world premieres and games with pre-orders.
2. You can follow these threads:

Simcity Classic: No. The game went open source years ago. You can either find or compile it yourself.

Fantasy Empires: That's complicated. As a D&D licensee, that leads it down a very complicated path of chaotic aether.

Black & White: If it was possible, we'd have it by now. I've always presumed it's in some kind of rights hell or relies on some impossible to fix black box voodoo magic tech. Possibly Peter Molyneux doesn't want the scales to fall from people's eyes in realizing that a game with no UI is a bad idea.

Anything without a DOS Release: Good luck. A lot of those old games rely on now non-existent code practices. Creatures 1 for example, doesn't exactly work in Wine due to the way it was built.

B&W is most certainly in hell between MS, EA and old Lionhead.
I think Black & White rights are in limbo between EA and Peter Molyneux, and Microsoft can go to hell.

I reckon Black and White is in rights hell - getting it to work actually isn't that hard (I've got an old boxed copy - patch it up, find a DLL for a weird glove control system (needed for the latest patch), whack in DGVoodoo2, strip out the copy protection and bingo!)
GOG already got most of the easy pickings. Most of what's left are uncooperative publishers and games lost in license hell. We might get some whenever GOG manages to untangle one of them, but I'd consider it a very nice surprise, not something I'd expect on the regular.
Still waiting for the Quake remaster, while owning the Steam version is all good I wouldn't mind a DRM-Free version for the sweaty 3 ways LANs
Unfortunately they have run out of new old games.

From now on, there will be only old new games, all the games you have in Steam already.

I'm fine with that, still waiting for Skyrim to appear here! I don't have it in Steam (and wouldn't care even if I did).

There are still publishers not yet on GOG, who could bring a reasonable number of games. e.g. Sega.

To be fair, they did release three new old games today.

Yes, the chess games today, Thrillville last week, Tomb Raider Legend-2013 not long ago, and it's looking likely that Serious Sam 2 and 3 will show up soon. And maybe even classic Activision Star Trek games. Browse the threads ssling linked.

Do you have a source for this? I would be very much interested.

If they are indeed coming, I hope they don't forget the Jewel of the Nile DLC for SS3.

Thanks. That is something, but does anybody know how long have the forums been there? Are they newly added or have they been there for years and somebody just noticed? Because I think if SS 3 was coming, the forum would use the full name of the game, being "Serious Sam 3: BFE".

EDIT:
Never mind, those are definitely new forums so it is highly likely the games are coming soon.
