Smannesman: Emulators don't feel the same.
It's like an e-reader vs actual books.

darthspudius: Explain that one to me because I use my PS/PS2 discs on my PC. I am still using the physical product and a very similar controller. Saving the game works exactly the same. I'm guessing you've never really experienced it. It is no different with the exception most games play better.
Seriously?
I own a lot of consoles and if I hadn't thrown all the old ones away, I would own a ton of computers by now.
Please don't troll, you're better than that.

Who's trolling, YOU are the one who's not making much and explaining your opinion.

Licurg: I played lots of games on both PS2 and PC emulators, and seen almost no difference.
The feeling is different. It's not just the visual. It's more "desk vs couch".

You're kidding right? Why is this still a cliché? Why can't you play on your couch? My son uses our pc on the couch via the TV every single day. Plays games with a controller and so on. Even then... if you actually put money into a reasonably comfortable chair means that problem is absolutely not an issue.
love the series, all the love went to silent hill 2 and resident evil, but fatal frame was the scariest for me (the timing was great since the ring movie came out)

i have the original trilogy on ps2, the only one that i didn´t play is the wii one

Have you ever played the original game on XBOX? If you haven't it is well worth checking out. It got some great visual upgrades and some nice subtle changes.
Project Zero 2 was my first game in the series and it's one of my favourites games ever. I thought the story was great, much better than 99% of the horror movies out there.

i played it on Xbox but now I own the wii version which I plan to play on my Wii U. Any one tried the wii version??
Has anyone ever heard of this other survival horror game called Siren for PS2?

Forbidden Siren is a magnificent flawed game. It is seriously seeeriously creepy.

Have you not played the original? it is far creepier (but less refined).

Games like Silent Hill and Fatal Frame and even Amnesia the Dark Decent is what I call Emo Horror. So many snobs proclaiming Silent Hill and this to be the Scariest game ever.

While I sit back and enjoy my classic Resident Evils and Doom 64.

You mean those morons on Youtube? The original game is near 15 yrs old and was a major flop. No one owned it til a certain someone screamed about it on Youtube. A lot scarier than Resident Evil haha. With the exception of the awful save system and Nemesis, the scares were very few far between. :D

Its all about Athmosphere and Enviornments. And when you think about the game is not soley about getting the jump scares.

Its about adventure and survival.

There is a lot more than jump scares in FF. Ever played it with loud volume? The atmosphere has that same eerie vibes from Raccoon City. The whispering spooks, the creeking eerie enviroments. Sounds amazing in headphones. Just like one of my favourite being the moaning zombies when you get the level 1/2 extension in the police station. Same very creepy vibe.

lol I love both games so either way, id defend them both. Though FF is definitely creepier. But great jump scares, two of my favourites that get me to this day. Dogs through the window (RE1) and Zombie arms through the window outside the meeting room (RE2). Every god damn time.
