There's no alternative to nexus, I'm pretty familiar with New Vegas' modding and while some authors do upload their stuff elsewhere, the vast majority stick to nexus and it's way, waaaay more convenient

And ultimately the mods that get taken down are shit like "no black people" or "only heterosexual romances" for the most part, so if you think you're missing something... uhh feel free lol

Maybe the wayback machine could have the mod link still active? Just a thought.

I was thinking, if the Wayback had the mod page still. The OP coyld dig in to the links and see if the nexus still had the the files still there. But hidden. Some site hide content and the wayback can reveal its still there.

Which is probably what makes some people grumpy.....unrelated to gaming. Now that I think of it.

Somebody above provided some links which basically give the effect of the mod but thanks regardless. I've never personally used wayback but the idea of digging up "deleted" files that way is both cool and scary. A reminder to use the Internet wisely.

I remember Nexus Mods used to have a system where you could rate a mod from 1-10, but you got banned if you voted lower than 5 or something.
That was like 10-15 years ago, when I was into modding Oblivion. Sounds like things haven't improved.

Back when the nexus was new, the guy that made it would talk directly to users that made complaints. The guy had ads laced with malware. I got my first account there at that time banned for telling the guy. Proved it 3 times before he quietly banned me.

I just didnt go back until long after. Wasnt worth the risk. Like these days. Dunno who owns it now.

That's true, isn't it? A couple months back, I was downloading mods for Oblivion and Skyrim, and I was really happy about it, aside from having to log in like near constantly. Some games don't even let you download mods unless you own the game on steam. Talk about shitty.
